The 1/14 edition of Impact, the first in its regular spot with the acquisition of Hulk Hogan, did a 1.3 rating (rounded up from a 1.26). It looks like Hogan has spurred some interest in the product.
The 1/14 edition of TNA Epics did a 0.7 rating

Pretty good ratings.

.15 or so increase isn't what I'd call spurring some interest. Now, if they had never gotten past a 1 before, then maybe, but still, nothing spectacular.
That's not good, dropping half your rating.

TNA needs to get that 2.0 rating, seriously.
I honestly think the ratings were mostly to people wanting to see "What Hogan will do next". That'll work for a few weeks, but won't keep the ratings consistent.

I was wondering how could they get a better rating on a Monday night, but yeah, I think they need to stop taping and do live shows on Thursdays.

I doubt the rating will go up unless it's live to be honest. The spoilers were out there for around 2 weeks.

Live on thursday would be good. There's really no excuse not to. At least it's a 1.3 which is better then b4 hogan came in.

The last time they got a 1.3 i believe was in Sept/Oct?

Wow, just what I thought, the first chance TNA has to show they can improve (1/4 was the showcase, this was to see who hopped onto Team TNA) and what happened? 1.3
It is a shame, there's a LOT of talented guys there and on occasion, I like TNA. But it's obvious bringing in Hogan did pretty much nothing. So hopefully the "TNA will be a major player" stuff will die down for a while, at least until their next big-name signing.
