Southland Tales is an unwatchable mess, made to be confusing for the sake of being confusing. Richard Kelly has proven that he was a fluke with this movie, The Box, and the Director's Cut of Donnie Darko.
The rest of the movies mentioned in this thread aren't really confusing, there's just a lot more going on beneath the surface.

People already said Donnie Darko but that was really confusing..
As for my choices I will choose:
Paranormal Activity - When exactly was it ever planning to get good?
Let The Right One In - Really stupid movie and random ending.
Lions for Lambs - Another dumb movie with another random ending..

First viewing of the Watchmen lol. Never read the book before watching the movie.
Can't think of anything else right now

The only movie that has confused me is Paranormal Activity, simply because I can't for the life of me understand how people liked that movie. QFT.

Simple thread, just list the movies that you have seen that you have absolutely NO idea what was going on in it. One of the films i watched and had no idea what was going on was Southland Tales 1st watched that like 6 months ago and i still dont have a clue what it was about but its one of my all time favourite movies Richard Kelly movies are like that. They make you think and I really love his films and any films that can make me really consider the meanings behind it all. I also love Terry Gilliam films for much the same reason. Movies that left me pondering: Donnie Darko Southland Tales The Box Brazil 12 Monkeys The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassis 2001: A Space Odyssey The Seventh Seal The Chumscrubber eXistenZ Lost Highway

The only movie I haven't been able to figure out was Synecdoche, New York. I haven't had a second viewing yet though. That one got me aswell! I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started watching that.... But I did enjoy it.

Pretty much any David Lynch movie leaves me saying "WTF" at the end.

Pretty much any David Lynch movie leaves me saying "WTF" at the end. For sure, anybody who finds relatively straight forward films like Donnie Darko and Watchmen confusing would have their heads explode upon watching Lynch's stuff.

Paranormal Activity, it refused to even be entertaining.

That movie was extremely confusing. Had to watch it in math class earlier in the year.

No offense intended, but I am a bit befuddled by what everyone finds so confusing about Donnie Darko.

I found Donnie Darko really confusing. I watched it once and never watched it again.

Honestly? No Country for Old Men. All I could tell was that Bardem was an escaped killer and Tommy Lee was trying to catch him; with Josh Brolin thrown in there after finding a ton of money. That's about all that made any sense to me. I know a lot of people loved it, and that's fine! I honestly just didn't understand it.
