Anybody who is new to the basic singles line will get a 1/1000 belt no matter what series it is. They (Mattel) said that at the Fall Toy Fair as well as Ringfest.

I want a Basic 2 1/1000 Punk.
If anyone finds one before me, keep it in mind that I will trade heavily in your favor for it.

I think thats silly. It should just be the first 1000 Figures they ever made. But oh well increases my chance in owning one

The International Toy Fair is an event where the toy companies debut their upcomming product to the retail store buyers & media in Febuary in NYC, but it's not open to the public. Then they also have another in the fall (not sure of the month) but that's also not open to the public. Then Ringside hosts Ringfest in NYC in late Oct/Nov. That is basically a sort of FanFest.

Ringside has figures to buy there. And they have various wrestlers (usually about 5 of them) I didn't go this year so I don't remember who was signing. But past years they've had Sting ( I think he was at the first), Warrior, Bret, Anvil, Piper, Snuka, Hall, Nash, Flair to name a few.

This ringside fest sounds fun.I never been to one so I wouldn't know how they run it.Plus I never been to new york either. But its sounds cool that mattel is doing the 1 of 1000's like this where they put the belt on each superstar thats not in the set yet.

These 1/1000 Belts are stupid. I saw ONE 1/500 Jakks belt in my life. There were 7 1/1000's at my TRU today when I went to pick up Kofi and Bourne. That's right. SEVEN figures that had 1/1000 belts just sitting there.
I didn't even buy any of them, because honestly, those belts look pretty bad in person.
Mattel should concentrate on giving us actual WWE belts for our figures and maybe some accessories and ditch these crappy 1/1000's.

So does that mean Mickie James will have that giant gold belt around her little waist in the 3rd basic wave? That would be cool. I am glad that everyone's first Basic fig will be available in 1/1000 form!

I agree they should make real WWE titles but just introducing the line right now with these belts is fine. Especially if you know the meaning behind the belt, you realize it's not that stupid but kind of cool actually. Jakks belts look good on their figures so for now they can do the job, although I can't wait to see if Mattel will put the detail into their belts that they do their figures.

I'm torn on the topic, really. I love that Mattel is producing a 1/1000 variant for every new talent produced, but at the same time I don't know if I can keep up. I mean, we are only two and a half weeks into the official release of series 1, and already series 2 is hitting stores!! If this trend continues there will be a lot of people out there, including me, who wont be able to stay caught up.
I had decided that I would try to collect one of every 1/1000 produced, but if Mattel is going to keep this kind of release schedule, I don't have a chance! Even now I only have 3 1/1000s and TWO OF THEM ARE BATISTA!

i dig the 1/1000's.... its something to search for if your into collection numbered items... if not then just stick to the regular figs...either way mattel seems to be making a good product!

If i ever find one.... so far I have only one 1 of 1000 (big show)....its going to you. You are the most dedicated fan of a specific wrestler on here. You deserve it. I agree bout the belts, but as a collector I am going to buy them. It makes collecting more fun. I was stoked when I found the show.. literally felt like a lil kid on christmas.. I havent felt like that in a long time. It would definatly be better if it were actual belts.
