good win for republicans but im sure the Dems will try to push something in very quickly they are pretty Bipartisan right? About as bipartisan as the Republicans. The Republicans have a better record of being bi-partisan than the DEMONcrats do. I mean look at Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac, the Bailouts...ect. Repubs were roped into voting the way of the dems to try and work together for the common good, and what happens??? The DEMONcrats stab the 'Pubs in the back and blame ever thing on them!

your right im not gonna say your not , but Democrats in congress have been absolutly horrid recently Only because the Republicans have said they are going to oppose stuff no matter how great the deal was for them. Are Democrats to blame? Sure, they have some blame. But Republicans are the bigger problem as they don't want to work with Democrats, they just want to make sure nothing gets done. Not entirely true and you're smart enough to know that. When Bush was in office he was good at getting bi-partisan support for his agenda and pushing things true. Democrats are the ones who are refusing to work with anyone or make any concessions. They're in power now though so they don't have to make concessions. It's how the game is played.

When you have something called the Patriot Act and try to pass off those against it as Anti-Americans, they are going to want to cave so they can be seen as Pro-American.

And when you have a young, idealistic, inexperienced President, you want to be hardline so his agenda doesn't pass and you can paint him as a failure.

It's politics as usual. So much for change in Washington. If Obama wanted change, he would make a bipartisan effort on stuff even though he doesn't have to. However, since he has a majority and doesn't have to make compromises, he doesn't do it. This is fine and good as it's how business is done in Washington, but it's no change.

And the stuff he's wanted to change, he's backed off on.

And the stuff he's wanted to change, he's backed off on. Which, again, is typical politics.

Well, looks like no healthcare for me. Pay for it yourself like I do. Why should I be forced to pay for your healthcare?

I want a Marxist in congress. I know that there's one socialist, but I'm talking about a full-fledged Marxist. It would be cool.

They won't tax you anymore than they already do, assuming we're all middle class here. Hopefully they tax lazy businessmen who sit behind desks with networths of a trillion dollars, underpaying their laborers.

They just woke up some day and discovered that they made a ton of money. We should punish them for that. How dare they just wake up one day and make tons of money. Bastards.
