I could have answered every question presented to the Mattel staff, and I don't know the first thing about what they have planned or have considered thus far.
It was one of the worst chats in recent memory and I seriously hope we have no others if they're going to follow the same formula.
If you're going to do a another chat in the near future, please be prepared next time and provide answers that everyone actually cares to read and isn't a complete waste of time.

I didnt expect much from it. I doubted that they would give in depth answers to most questions. I did like that they acknowledged the knee pads on the Elites being an issue. I do wish they would have at least hinted to entrance ramps and steel cages and such. But i got out of it what i expected. lol

the fact that they didn't address the belts for their new figures is a bit concerning for you guys.

I just wanted to know if the women would all have the same body. We were told they will not.
I am very happy.

i only had 2 questions: if they would consider doing WM Heritage 2-packs,like michaels vs Hart,Austin vs michaels,Kane vs. Taker,etc... also, would they ever think about making actual adult-sized toy belts...i'd definitely buy a few,if they were bigger, and i think it's potentially something that collector's might be interested in... i got neither answered...

Well that is what I was expecting, Mattel returning to the normal company message about their toy lines. I think the silence is more about seeing what we bitch about not hearing, and how big the reorders are.

I tried a few different questions, and finally got my one about the PPV name tags answered, so I guess I'm pretty happy, but it could have been more informative than it was.

I'm not to upset about the answers because anyone who's seen their chats/interviews about the DC stuff knows the "stay tuned" answer is thrown out there quite a bit. Because there's things they can't talk about because of legal reasons or they just don't have the answer yet...but my main issue is with the questions that were asked. There were plenty of questions that were picked that should have never found their way onto the chat to begin with.

I'm just happy they know that the kneepads suck. Everything seemed like it was "Possibly.- Stay Tuned!"

Bingo, that's why I didn't even bother logging in to the chat. In addition, ToyFair is only about 3 weeks away, and that's where we'll get the next batch of photos and news. They always play it pretty close to the chest this close to one of the cons they'll be attending. Some of the questions that got submitted definitely were ridiculous, though.

I'd like to know "what figures are they most proud of & Most disappointed in"? Cause guys like Orton & Santino are perfect while Triple H is just okay.

I've come to expect this level of "information" from these kinds of chats. It's not like we were told "all of your burning questions answered!" we were just told we'd get a chance to "talk" to the design team. That's not a very promising proposition from a news standpoint, so my expectations were low. I don't know who was choosing the questions, a Mattel rep or a moderator, but some real clunkers got trough.
Realistically, Toy Fair is NEXT MONTH. Did we really think they were going to come on here and reveal all of their plans and surprises in a chatroom before the Toy Fair? For what it was, we got some decent info out of it. Possible internet exclusives, belts for the figures revealed soon (I predict Toy Fair), and something they're doing for the "first time" at Toy Fair that we'll be excited about. Was it a waste of time? Maybe, but it was an internet chat about toys. What else would you have been doing? Painting masterpieces?

It wasn't the answers that Mattel provided (basically it was standard Mattel fare), but the quality of the questions sucked.
Just like a said before...I pity the poor schmuck that Mattel assigns to deal with Wfigs.
