I haven't collected since R3, but the CSDA figures look great (specifically the Heaven and Hell set) and I'm thinking about starting a small collection, so who better to start the collection off than with Bret Hart?
I've seen the carded pics, but to those of you who've seen them in person, do you like series 2 or 7 more? And why?
And loose pics would be great (will give "karma" if you're into that). Thanks.

I've never seen CSDA7 in person, but I do have the CSDA2 figure and I love it. The head sculpt isn't anything to write home about, but the attire choice and attention to detail is fantastic.

It depends do you want him as a singles? CSDA2 or Tag team CSDA7? Personally I like the CSDA7 better... CSDA2 Hitman - W/ RF jacket - CSDA2 Hitman fixup - Sharpshooter - CSDA7 Hitman Bret Hart - Quick fix (arm switch)

I think the CSDA 2 blows the CSDA 7 out of the water with its detail but if you want true "classic" you might have to go with CSDA 7.
Hell, just get both if you can swing it.

I think the CSDA2 one is great, best Bret scan. I have been looking for that head for ages with no luck.

CSDA 2 has better detail but the face scan ruins it. The CSDA 7 is good if you have the CSDA Anvil.

Thanks Chicago and PJ for the pics. +1
Series 2 is obviously much better, great attention to detail...not diggin the head sculpt though. Would a head switch from an RA Bret work? Or would that look weird?
Oh and PJ, where did that jacket come from? The Montreal Screwjob 2-pack?

It was from one of the RFE either the I quit or MSJ. If you look I did put a CS13 head on the Series 2 figure and the CSDA7 comes with a CS1 Head so yes the RA styled heads fit. CSDA2 is his best scan as far as likeness goes, but it's a crappy expression.

CSDA 2's outfit is waaaay better imo. The head bothers me though so I swapped it for a classic superstars head and it looks better to me. Get 'em both dude. Bret rules the earth.

If you don't mind...do you have loose pics of that set? Or whatever set you got the jacket from? Thanks again man. +1

I love the CSDA 2 Bret as it reminds me of his attire he wore in his match against Owen at SUmmerSlam'94

CSDA 2 easily but it would look a lot better if it had the CSDA 7 headscan. Would have loved to have a Deluxe Bret in an all black attire he wore instead of top half black, bottom half pink etc.

CSDA 2 no doubt, I hate the CSDA 7 headscan, looks horrible IMO, the CSDA 2 scan is phenominal, and a better attire.

CSDA2 for the same reasons as Queen.
I have CSDA7, but can't find CSDA2 at a decent price.
I'll own it one day....

Personally I love CSDA2, even the headscan. It really does look like Bret... and it's perfect for locking in a sharpshooter. A smile just doesn't work in that pose.
