I remember...I think it was the Hall of Fame?..where Heenan said he just wished Gorilla could have been there to see it.
What a great commentary team they were, I don't know if there was any better.

They were by far the greatest commentary combo in the history of wrestling. If anyone has not seen Heenan's HOF induction, I recommend they do, it was great and you can tell that it was not scripted and came entirely from The Brain's heart.

Heenans HOF acceptance speech was likely the all time best(still wish theyd release the 1994 and 1996 HOF's on DVD) only 2nd to sheiky babys 2005 ind.

Two of my favorites. Heenan is hands down the greatest heel commentator of all time, and Monsoon's voice is perfect for wrestling announcing. Classy move on Heenan's part there. You can tell he was upset.

That was great. Heenan loved Gorilla. As you see Schiavone talking about the WCW broadcast after Heenan says his words, you can see Heenan barely holding himself together. Poor guy. Monsoon was awesome.

Yeah after this segment, Heenan had to excuse himself from the announcers table and I believe Scott Hudson or somebody else filled in because he was visibly upset.

Those (Bobby & Gorilla) two kept me entertained for years on Prime Time Wrestling before the days of RAW. Their chemistry was unmatched.

without a doubt Heenan and Monsoon are my all time favorite memories or anything dealing the WWF or WWE or whatever. I have countless video tapes of Prime Time Wrestling. I wouldn't tape the matches. I'd just tape Gorilla and Bobby talking. It pissed me off to no end when the "new" Prime Time debuted with the crowd and whatnot. Even the 4 man Prime Time set up sucked. I, to this day, am still bitter about Monday Night Raw. I never wanted my Prime Time to go away.

Wrestling will never again be as fun as it was when Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan did the commentary. Those 2 were so good together. God I miss those days.

I truly can't add anything else to the already-mentioned great tributes of praise to the best commentary team ever, but it was so very sad to see how upset Heenan was...

Heenan is a class act.
I remember on his shoot,he said he was gonna walk if he wasnt allowed to do that
I say fair play to him.I think Ill watch his shoot again now actually
