So, this Monday I ventured up to Chicago to see the legendary anarcho-punk/crust band Antisect, from the UK, and we hung out with the bassist for a little bit after the show. Obviously he's the old guy. Really cool guy, although he got onto the red-haired kid for not liking Motorhead, haha.   My best friend and I, drunk as piss  This week has been crazy. Four different shows full of awesome bands. I feel like a bruised piece of fruit and now it's time to kick back and rest for a bit. |

^^^ That's awesome, reminds me of when I used to go to gigs all the time. Mind you, I actually like Motorhead...and Mayhem.  Seen Amebix? |

They played a show in late 2010 but we're about an hour drive to Chicago and we got totally snowed in - - To the point where we couldn't drive anywhere without being in serious danger. So I guess you could say Winter kept us from seeing Amebix. C wut I did thar?  I also saw Deviated Instinct a week before this Antisect show. And English Dogs a few months ago. It's been a great year for shows. |

We wouldn't have the awesomeness of Gallhammer without them, maybe, but yeah, great album from Amebix, their defining album as you put it. I'll relax, all good, and I'm not paranoid, just dealing with the Fear of God, that's all. |

Crust isn't really a major punk movement though, no offense, they're old, and influential, but they arn't up their with guys like Reagan Youth or Subhumans, just personal opinion! |

Crust isn't really a major punk movement though, no offense, they're old, and influential, but they arn't up their with guys like Reagan Youth or Subhumans, just personal opinion! Yeah but Reagan Youth and Subhumans are in a whole different thing of their own. Although they are two of the most legendary punk bands. |
