i know this isnt a wrestling fig but remember the dark knight joker heath figure? now its at mt tru for 5 bucks! people were paying out the ass for it! Also if it's making this much money on Ebay I am sure mattel knows and they will mass produce it to get money. They really should at this point. What is one reason they shouldn't release this figure? What do you guys think kept it from being in first wave? Sure he is not in the compnay but who cares, the drug bust thing is not making that big of headlines so if thats the case they need to get over it. I don't think you have a firm grasp on how business/companies/the world works.

As they only stocked the mattel figures 2 weeks ago at the store he found that at. So i think there is a shot there are at least a few hundered of these made as they wouldnt make a single one and send it out they get mass produced.

Why anyone would spend that much for a figure, regardless of the odds of it actually seeing the light of day is beyond me. At the end of the day, it's a molded piece of plastic, nothing more. Sure it looks nice and if it doesn't see the light of day that's a nice little unique piece to have in your collection. But spending over 570 dollars on it? There's so much more that I'd rather spend that much money on -- a more than decently-sized LCD perhaps. 570 dollars is two paychecks or so for me, maybe a little less.
But hey, a fool and his money right? Maybe he's got a nice little chunk of money that he's not doing much with and thinks it'd be worth a good chunk of change down the line. I'd just hate to see the guy blow that much money on something that gets released to mass retail at some point down the line. But maybe that'd be poetic justice, poetry in motion indeed.

Ridiculous...Whoever paid that much money for that must have ALOT of money they don't know what to do with. $30 tops hell you could make one of your own just as good for $16.

If this turns out to be like the Kamala Hasbro with the moon on his belly then whoever bought it made a great investment. However, if it's mass released then ouch. Just ouch....
Either way, $576 is 2 car payments for me, so I'm just fine taking a chance on the mass release.

Its not 2 for me but it sure as hell makes one and i don't see why people take chances like this the first time they see something. i could see it being a 1/100 or something of that sort but no word how many are out yet.

That is a staggering amount for a figure that will more than likely be mass produced at some point in time, in my opinion.
Sure, it might not feature the same carding and, thus, this will remain a special piece in someone's (a hardcore collector, hopefully) collection, but it would be terribly unfortunate to see others paying $15 for the exact same figure.
