First off: I'm sorry if this is in the wrong board. I didn't know where else to put it.
But I bought an Entrance great HBK yesterday and noticed that the left arm seems to be warped. When you take the vest off, it looks like the arm is going to fall right off it.
So, I went out, returned it, and got another one. Turns out the same exact thing was wrong with the new one. Is this just a common thing? I mean, do I have to accept the arm being a little screwy or am I having bad luck?
Any help would be appreciated.

I wish I was lucky enough to find one of these. You found a bad one and even another one to trade back at the store.

A lot of Mattel's figures have quality issues...or at least the ones I have found.
When I went to buy my Santino/Beth 2-pack, most of the 2-packs had Beth with black smudges on her face or yellow paint on her chest. I bought the best looking one I could find.
And when i bought Kofi Kingston, like 9 of them had this identical scratch on his torso in between his abs...it was tough but I found one without the scratch and bought it.
A lot of Mattel figures I have seen in stores have had black smudges or scratches on them.
Chances are, the arm issue with your HBK is probably very common.

I'm gonna keep it anyway. I guess it's better to have one HBK than none at all (even if it's a little damaged)

I saw one today at my Walmart. I almost got it, but chose to wait. I couldn't really tell because of the clothes, but the ones I've seen on here all looked fine.

mine's fine, you may just be having bad luck. i bought a kofi with his left calf on backwards and his tree was painted on backwards because of this too so i took it back and got another one. i'm the guy standing in the toy isle for an hour trying to pick out the figures that look the best! i do this with every figure line i collect so it's not just mattel.

I have two and both seem fine. As a matter of fact the only QC problem I've had with the Mattel WWE is one of the extra Heriage Orton figures I bought was missing the wrist tape on his right wrist.

Just about every Mattel figure I have minor paint app issue. It's just a side effect of detail work. As for the shotty joints that is just a side effect of little joints. The Jakks arms may have been big and cartoony but they acted as better stabilizers. Could be the start of the R-3 issues again.

I have noticed a lot of Mattels figures have minor paint issues. I bought basic 2 the other day and stood in the store lookin at each guy to make sure i gotthe best painted ones. If im paying 11$ a figure i want the best there is. Some guy was kinda lookin at me not like i cared. Kids don't care b/c they screw them up and chip the paint anyway.
