The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter is reporting that the original plan within WWE was to continue the Raw guest host concept up until WrestleMania 26, and then decide whether or not they wanted to continue with the concept following the big PPV. At this point, it's being said that WWE is leaning towards continuing with the gimmick, as they feel it will be a unique weapon against TNA if they decide to go live with Impact on Monday nights.
TMZ.com is reporting that police found a single Soma pill on Gregory Helms at the time he was arrest last week along with Chris Jericho. Although Helms did say he had a prescription for the pill, he could not produce it at the time of his arrest.

I hope this now shuts up the people who always say WWE doesn't care about TNA and that they are not competition. So because they say that WWE is possibly going to use the Guest Host idea as "a weapon" and all of a sudden they see TNA as competition? They have been using the Guest Host thing for like 7 months now....TNA wasn't considered competition then when WWE started it, and they won't be after WM26 when TNA decides to go live weekly. |

That kinda sucks for Helms but if he has a prescription at his house I don't really see the problem.
As for the guest host being a weapon.. I wouldn't really say it helps that much. Has it really proven to boost Raw's ratings when the guest was someone crappy like Napoleon Dynamite or ZZ Top? Of course Bret Hart or The Rock would get awesome ratings but how many guest hosts have really drew a ton of ratings just by themselves?
