I was at the German Toyfair yesterday and there were, I think for the first time EVER, some new Playsets shown for the MATTEL Wrestling Figs later this year:
- there will be a Real Scale ELITE Ring in the 2nd half of the year (the turnbuckles looked a little bit strange and the ringposts thicker than the one from Jakks) - there will be a Flex Force Money in the Bank Ladder Match playset with assimilated Entrance Stage, that can be converted - there will be Flex Force Figures with sound later in the year, that can speak when you push the action features
There were no news on any classic figures or new Basic or Elite sets but it seems that these sets are more for the Americans, so I think these will show up at the New York Toyfair.
I'm sorry to have no pics but it was not allowed to make photos.

Flex Force is definitely clogging the shelves here, but then again, the same can be said for Wrestlemania Heritage.

Not too fussed for the flexforce stuff, i really wish it would not be pushed as much. Not a fan of them. Great news about an elite ring though!

Looking forward to seeing the Elite ring.
I don't understand the fuss over FlexFlorce...they are clearly made for kids. Younger fans.

For adult collectors the flex force series is kinda useless. But for moc collectors or people like myself who only collect wrestlers they really like, the flex force line can be interesting pieces to have. I have FF CM Punk with and without accessories and they certainly catch your eye hanging on the wall. That being said, the hefty majority of people collect loose and it seems that even kids aren't very interested in them. I honestly believe it's the price that turn a lot of people off from them. If they were a few bucks cheaper I would probably buy the Matt Hardy and Evan Bourne.
But yes, that elite ring has me pretty anxious. Can't wait to see it.

Unless the Mattel RSR is PERFECT, I see no need for it, my Jakks RSR works fine.

awesome about the Real Scale ring horrible that the Flex Force line is continuing. Those figures SSSSSSUCK I actually like them. I bought the matt hardy flex force for the table and ladder and had so much fun flinging him around through the table.

Really looking forward to the Mattel Elite Ring, unless its bloody expensive in which case that'll suck. I think it will be cool for kids to have figures with sound effects, but I'm not bothered tbh. And I like the idea of a flex force mitb match, not because its flex force, but because it'll have weapons which i could use seeing as i dont have many jakks weapons.

I bought the matt hardy flex force for the table and ladder and had so much fun flinging him around through the table. Me too. I bought the Punk with chair, ring steps, garbage and it really isn't a bad figure/set. The other FF Punk (in yellow) basically has better tattoos than any Jakks Punk

Flex Force gets a lot of hate, but they are made for kids. That's why I have no problem with them.
Can;t wait to see the Elite ring.

Flex Force sells great here, its the Elites and CM Punk figures that don't move. I would like to know more about the MITB set.

The Elite ring better be awesome and well priced if they want me to get it over my RSR HIAC. But i like the flexforce line, gives the kiddies something to grab besides that one figure you've been looking all over for.

Voice chip in the flex force sounds kinda cool. Still won't buy any for myself but my son might like them someday.
