i think due to details they gave us the plastic ones for edge and taker, hardys doesn't have any details so they gave us the cloth.

maybe not but the hardy jacket has more detail than both taker and edges (the figures i mean not actuality) it has metal buttons on it

More than likely because Edge and Taker's jackets are leather and Hardy's isn't. He's got more of a long petticoat. Edge and Taker have details in their jackets that needed to be sculpted in. They were going for accuracy.

Mattel said in their chat that they realize that Taker and Edge's coat were too stiff, so there wasn't really a need to question it. Even if we were to question it, who would we be asking? Not Mattel but each other. So we wouldn't really be getting an answer, just a few pages of speculation and people complaining about the current Taker and Edge coats.

Its got to do with the detail required to go onto the coat. Its possible mattel have listened but i dont think they could have made changes this quickly.

I much prefer the plastic ones. Never liked Jakks' cloth coats or Ralph's ones, and I don't like the look of this Hardy one. I don't think cloth clothing really works on figures this size.

Didn't Mattel say that Edge & Takers leather coats were too long and detailed and that was the only way to get the look and flow of the leather right? I could have sworn they said something like that in the chat or one of the videos from the Fall Toy Fair.
