read my post on how to fix loose ankle joints, it will help tremendously. also, for the warped legs and stuff, you'll need to run hot water over the warped area for 10 - 15 minutes. then hold the figure in place and let it cool. you can place an object between their legs to keep it in position and place it in a freezer to speed up the cooling process. these figures can be fixed no problem with a little bit of effort. you'll then be able to stand them up straight and pose them how you want. this same process works on weapons too btw. anyway, hope this helps! It's great that there are ways to solve the problem, but you don't expect to pay for the goods and then have to stick them in the freezer before using them!

After looking at my Elites, I thought to myself, "Maybe Mattel is making the feet like that purposely for articulation purposes." To me, it just seems that without those gaps in the feet, they would have as much turning distance as they do.
Just my opinion.

There's a bigger gap in between the ankle & foot for the greater range of motion. Not only can the foot go farther forward & backwards, but it also rolls sideways. And the larger gap is there so it can optain that greater range of motions.

The feet wouldn't have as much freedom as they do unless they were like this.
