The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there may not be any immediate plans for Christian and the future of the ECW Championship. At this point, the early talk is that the title will cease to exist and Christian will be moved to another brand, most likely Smackdown, but that has not been confirmed. As we reported before, WWE NXT debuts on February 23rd.

They should retire the title and give Christian the World title by default as know one can/could match his awesomeness level as World Champion.Fixed to further what should happen. |

Also being reported is that Christian may or may not be in contention for the NXT title. We'll have more on this situation as it becomes available. Plans are subject to change at any time.

I anticipate Christian joining R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, John Morrison, Drew McIntyre, Matt Hardy, CM Punk and the Hart Dynasty in great matches, but he'll be dropping down to the IC title ranks for sure.

He should pull an Edge and attack R-Truth before the Smackdown chamber match, win it, and then Edge will face Christian at WM.

Id like to see Christian move on to Smackdown. Not Raw, yet. Look at Swagger. ECW World Champion, and now RAW jobber. I don't want that to happen to Chrstian. I'd like to see him on SD, and give us classic matches against Y2J, Edge, Punk, and Hardy. Maybe have him win the World Title.
Ryder or Tatsu as NXT Champ.

I wouldnt mind Ryder as the Next NXT champions... still sounds stupid.

They should retire the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, and create a WWE World Television Championship that is used primarly on the new show
