I was at my toys r us helping my mom look for a birthday gift. So i was checking the wrestling aisle and see this guy on his iphone just checking listings on ebay and putting all the mattel and jakks stuff into his cart. So i wanted to mess with him, i grabbed a CS 6 animal which he was looking at online. This guy goes following me around all the store and then i tell him 5 bucks for it, and he paid me to just give to him. Great Day. Sounds like an idiot scalper considering George aint gonna drum up much desire on the bay.

Mattel figs aren't even worth more than retail on the secondary market, so what's the point? That's what I'm finding very strange about the scalpers on here. Mattel figures are already very expensive, even the online stores are barely charging more than retail. So are there really people on ebay that are going to pay the kjtoys prices? is there a reason why you have to bring my name up? I have very good prices on ebay and i give members even better deals..

Why'd you let the people on here get to you man? If you were able to sell those figures for what you were asking, there's no foul at all. I really hope you didnt lower all your prices on there just to please some of the drones on here.

His profit margin for both the CS6 LOD on Ebay would be less than US$5 if u took $10 off him.

Every time a hot toy comes out their is a demand for it and if someone can fill that demand they are going to try to make a profit on it or else why sell anything?
KJToys isn't a big toy store that is selling millions of dollars worth of toys. He's one guy who is putting the product out there early and looking to make some money on it. Do you really think Toys R Us or Walmart pay the same price for the figure that customer's do? No, they pay the dealer cost and then mark it up. Why do they do that?? To make a profit, just like every business in the world.
If you don't like his prices then don't buy figures from him. Wait until they hit retail and pay the retail price but stop bringing the guy's name up whenever the conversation turns to prices of figures.

Like it or not, this is capitolism. This is what the United States stands on. If you dont like it, dont buy it. Other people will.

scalpers are cool with me..without them i would have missed out on lots of sold out toys. sure we would all rather buy them at retail but i would rather pay a scalper then not have the toy at all..

Scalper's are just smarter, that's all. If I had money to pick up all the figures at one time, and knew I could sell them, I would do the same thing. Might not sound fair, but it is.

I dont care if your KJ, MJ, LJ or PJ...if you purchase a figure for the sole purpose to resale it to make a greater profit, I have no use for you. You can use the excuse "I want to give people a chance to get something they might not find" well then charge them the price of the figure + shipping. $40 for a $15 figure isnt "helping" anyone out.

I kinda think the same thing. I figure if they do that for that purpose, then why not just leave it on the pegs so the person can pick it up local instead of getting probley from out of state costing them more plus shipping.

I could see even if you are selling them for a dollar or two more then you pay just to pay your gas or effort but anytime people charge 5$ more they aren't helping anyone. People say b/c scalpers i can get figures i wanted and couldn't find when in reality if you didn't have scalpers you would prob find a whole lot more.

I despise scalpers, i think its pathetic and quite sad really. You should only buy what you want or need. Not buying things with the intention to profit on it.
