I would try a canvas, turnbuckles, three ropes, posts, ring apron....for starters.

You could buy one from high spots, but they're very expensive.

I built a ring in my basement during freshman year summer. Here's what I wound up using...
4 pallets for the base- you can find these behind a grocery store, maybe at a school that just got a delivery, etc. I always wanted to go like 8 pallets but we didn't have enough room. They're good for a base though
Next I got a decent amount of carpet padding. and laid it over the pallets with nails. I wanna say a good 3-4 layers.
Finally I put a tarp ontop of it all, and nailed it down to the sides of the pallet so it's flat.
I experimented with ropes and posts, but there was nothing that usable for those.
