So i got the raw spring ring today along with John Cena and the Big Show and frankly I think the ring looks good around the outside but on the inside is terrible. The actual middle part is far too springy and makes a terrible noise when figures are played with on there. The ringposts, ropes and apron parts are great just dont think the middle bit is any good. Anyone else agree with me on this?

I was thinking about getting this for my stop motions, do the figures stand up ok or do they fall quite alot?

The ring is trash pretty much. Way too small, looks smaller than any Jakks ring ever made. I do like the realistic sound the mat makes, besides that you cant do a damn hip toss in the ring without a wrestling going coast to coast. It looks like it's modeled after a 12X12 ring, most sh*tty indy feds use a bigger ring

I took the "spring" feature away from mine in order to give the ring more stability. You can see here that two heavy glasses don't weigh the mat down...

I also removed the spring action by wedging cardboard between the frame and under the mat like DKR did above.

nothing beats a rsr, seriously. this one is okay for display if you do what pj and dkr did with theirs.

My only gripe was the lack of stickers. Only 2 skirt stickers wtf! I wonder if Naparo would do mattel fitting skirts?

Obviously its no rsr. But I actually like the mattel rings. I have a raw ring and an ecw ring and will probably shell out for the sd one also. I like the sound the mat makes and had no complaints except that there are only 2 ring skirt stickers. Not sure why that is , but otherwise its solid to me
