Is it me or has there been way too many Undertaker Mattel figures? I read a couple quotes from Mattel where they would not be releasing Rey Mysterio and John Cena every set or two, but they never said anything about Taker...
WrestleMania Heritage - BASIC Survivor Series - BASIC Basic 3 - BASIC
I could be over reacting here, but 3 Undertakers within the first couple months or so? No to mention these...
Elite 1 - ELITE
Force Flex 1 - FORCE FLEX Force Flex 1 w/ weapons - FORCE FLEX
Plus they all look the same. I know it is different attires but it is not that much of a difference.

I was thinking about this, too. Luckily they are mostly the same- except for Survivor Series.
Hey, at least they sell well.

UT sells better than HHH.....in and out of the ring. There ware WAY too many HHH's considering he has FF 1 and 2, Elite 2, EG, Matchups, Basic and repaint.

i personally think this is the problem Mattel has made for themselves, too many different versions of the same wrestlers in too short a time period...Cena,HHH,HBK,Batista,Taker,Mysterio,Punk,Orton,Edge,etc. all have had many figures within the first month of release...it wouldn't be TOO bad if the original idea had stuck - January: Basic 1 and Elite 1,February: WM Heritage,March: Basic 2 and Elite 2,April: Survivor Series ,etc....problem was,ALL of these hit within the first month of the launch, and Survivor Series is due this month....that's 4 month's worth of releases arriving with 6 weeks or so...that's where the problems come in,because it's just too much, too many of the same guys, too quickly...

Keep in mind that the SS Undertaker is only going to be one per case.

Why only complain about Taker when there are clearly several other wrestlers with the same problem?

MAIN EVENTERS SELL FIGURES - c'mon kids, it's simple economics. believe it or not, we collectors are probobly only half of the market - which is considerable, but the other HALF wants nothing but Cenas, Mysterios, HHHs, Takers, etc. hey always sell, and they make the profits which leads to us collectors getting our Yoshi Tatsus in a timely manner (hopefully).

I know main eventers sell, but didn't Mattel say they were not going to take this path before the line launched this year?

like i said, none of us would be having this conversation of the releases were scattered better....i'm just not sure who to blame here...Mattel? kinda hard to fault them for making product...the distribution centers? pushing everything out too fast, instead of holding back some stuff....
i don't know....

I find it funny how you guys say that JAKKS sucks, and Mattel is 10000 times better, yet you all bitch about the same problems with Mattel that Jakks had..... Atleast someone is making wrestling figures.

I don't see a real reason to complain at all. Out of the 20 active male Superstars on the RAW brand we already have 17 or 85% of them. On the Smackdown side we have 12 of 25(48%) going up to BS3. If you include 2pk 3 and BS4, that number goes up to 15 of 25 or 60%. That includes guys like Haas, Fu Naki and the MIA Curt Hawkins. ECW has the lowest percentage but that makes sense given the low ratings the show does and having a roster full of guys like Tyler Reks, Croft and Barreta.
If you believe the line ups for 2pk 4 you can add Chavo, Tyson Kid, DH Smith and Tommy Dreamer(?) to the list. How long did it take the almighty Jakks to hit those kind of numbers?

Get used to it, Mattel has to make money on each mold and parts that can only be used for one figure mans plenty of repaints. I was figuring on around 10 Cena, 7 Batista, 7 HHH, 6 HBK, 6 Undertaker and 6 Punks by years end. Then again we already have 4 Cenas, 4 HHH, 3 Batista 2 HBK, 2 Undertaker and only one Punk.

What the hell do people want? Mattel is already 85% down with the whole Raw roster and 50% done with the whole Smackdown roster. IN A MONTH!!
Even ECW is being very fairly represented when you consider that it takes 12 months to take a figure from concept art to store shelves. 12 months ago, the big guys in ECW were Swagger, Hardy, Finlay, Hornswoggle, Mark Henry, and Christian. We currently have ALL of those as figures with Christian arriving shortly.
Who cares if there are a couple different attires to pick from for main-event guys, when we are quickly and efficiently getting THE WHOLE ROSTER?
I really do NOT understand what people have to complain about.

Agreed about how well they have done in so short a time. We are missing a total of 18 male wrestlers from the entire WWE roster (missing as in not announced or produced yet). We are missing: Hass Hawkins McIntyre Wang Yang Fu Naki Gallows Knox Slam Master J Croft Jackson Hurricane Barreta Reks Archer Tatsu Ryder Masters Sheamus
