I have elite and heritage, and i have to say elite is 10 times better as far as body style for orton. FYI proto pics didnt do elite orton any justice.

I wouldnt wait to see the basic in person and run the risk of not being able to find elite afterwards.

Something no one has pointed out:
Elite's tattoos are more 'realistic' - the basic looks like it's flat black, while the elite appears to be sort of dark green and a little faded.

I have the elite 2 Orton figure, and it's really cool. I'll probably get the basic 3 Orton too though.

I'll get both. Love Orton's character and Mattel's scan has to be one of the best I've seen on a wrestling figure.
They've managed in one go what Jakks couldn't manage in about 7 years.

Elite Orton is the only figure from that series I haven't found yet, but I can't wait to get it. The basic one looks good, but the elite one seems to be nearly perfect. I hate Orton, but that figure looks so good that I'm chomping at the bit to find it. Based on pics I've seen, the tatts look better on the elite, too.
