I'm about to watch the season 4 finale. recently i've read all over the internet, season 4 will be the last, there will be no season 5
Does anyone know if there actually will be a Season 5 of Heroes

Just finished watching it and am still confused, i mean they could perfectly well end the whole show with that ending.

Wikipedia is not the best source of information, but apparently, Greg Grunberg, who plays Matt Parkman said that the show didn't tie up all the loose ends and it's a cliffhanger ending. There are rumors of a sixth volume.

They'd better make more Volumes. I never want this show to end. But it inevitably will and I shall cry.

My guess is that they fully intend to have another season of Heroes, but there's no confirmation. Yet, they don't want to completely wrap up the series in case NBC does decide to give them another season.
I'm hoping for another season, of course. Last season was the best since the first.

I'll be honest, I'd like a fifth season. After a monumental fall from grace in Series 3, Series 4 slowly, slowly began getting back up there in terms of quality. The finale left the door open for plenty of new twists and turns, I think a Season 5 would make sense and could possibly be one of the most interesting seasons of Heroes ever.
With that said, it wouldn't deal me a major blow if the show was canceled. A majority of the Season 3 episodes were downright painful to watch, Season 4 had a few of those kinds of episodes. Season 4 tried its best to salvage the show, but I think it only succeeded marginally.

By the looks of volume six, I think they completely opened a new door, but I didn't want them to at the same time. I love the show, but if they are going *SPOILERS* hey look everyone, I have powers route , then I'm not too excited.

I loved seasons 1 and 3, 2 was alright, but this one I couldnt fully get into until the second to last episode. Sylar is the only one I find myself caring about. Im tired of the Noah/Claire trust issue weve had since the start. I cant stand Ali Larter, and the fact they created a whole new character for her. Peter is just becoming more and more emo. And then the second best character on the show is killed off. If they do go through will another season they better make changes or itll be the same old shit.
