credit to mmanews.com Following his loss to Randy Couture at UFC 109, Mark Coleman got into a jarring match with Tito Ortiz who was cage side. Josh Koscheck was none to impressed with Ortiz trying to kick Coleman while he was down and now wants a shot at the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champ. The American Kickboxing Academy fighter is also so confident? he would be beat Ortiz that he is willing to put his own money on the line.
Koscheck posted the following on his twitter account today: "Look at the old days of the UFC. I wud bet 100k of my own money on it. After I this Brit up (Paul Daley), I want to kick big mouths ass (referring to Ortiz)".
Koscheck, who fights at 170lbs but walks around heavier would need to jump two weight classes up to 205lbs to meet with Ortiz who also cuts a lot of weight prior to fight. It may not be something UFC President Dana White may be interested in but if Koscheck keeps talking this is a grudge match waiting to happen.
seems Tito isn't making too many friends upon his comeback to the UFC. I can't believe Tito did that to Coleman. I understand he was pissed because of all the sh** Coleman talked on his family but there are better places to say what he did...and after Coleman loses the biggest fight of his life wasn't the time. It looked very unprofessional of Tito. It is so damn hard being a Tito fan nowadays.

Josh walks around at 210 - 215 so I don't see why not.

Josh walks around at 210 - 215 so I don't see why not. damn he cuts a lot of weight... I honestly would be interested in seeing this. I think Koscheck would probably win. Tito is the more powerful guy but I think his fight with Forrest proved that the surgery didn't really help at all. I think Tito is a shell of his former self..I am still a fan of his that is why it pains me to see him still talking sh**. He fights once a year and he hasn't won a fight in 4 years. That isn't good. I would love nothing more than for Tito to at least rack up a couple of wins and fight for the title one more time..but it will never happen. The LHW division is stacked full of guys who can defend his takedowns and who are better strikers than him.

It is so damn hard being a Tito fan nowadays. Your tellin me. I find myself disliking him lately... I think KOS has a good chance at winning. Tito is alot bigger but KOS is a great wrestler and has better striking and not to mention is alot faster. But man Tito is doing alot of ed up craplately talking shit...

That would be a good fight. I like Kosheck, good fighter overall. And Tito is my favorite. I would see Tito picking up either a Submission victory or decision.

I'd be apathetic about this fight. I'd watch, and it might be fun, but it seems pointless.
A guy like Koscheck, who is in his prime and a contender two weight classes below LHW, proves nothing by beating Tito. For that matter, you could argue that most fighters prove nothing by beating Tito these days, unless they're already considered a worse fighter than he is.
It would basically just detour Kos from his own division at a time where he's probably just a fight or two away from a title shot.

Call it a gut feeling, but I just don't see this fight happening.

That's nice - but I really don't think Koscheck will be doing anything for a while... not after Daley knocks his head off.

KOS vs. Tito. Hmmm....I hope they kill each other. One is a cheat and the other is a cry baby.

Of course this fight would never happen, and Kos knows it. He's just bringing in some attention. No different than him and Swick calling out Matt Hughes as their little inside-joke all the time.

I know, I'm just joking around. Sadly beating Tito wouldn't mean as much now as it would have a few years back.
