If its painted like that, its got to be one from mass production, i swear there are more pained jeffs ready to be released.
As for test shots, theres quite a few out there, even saw some on ebay the other day and some on here a while ago.

where the hell did you get that? you lost? how the hell did you find it then? I Lost the sealed one right at the end of the auction. I was typing in a higher bid right when it ended. The winner's high bid was $600 and I was going to enter $666 but ran out of time. Oh well... It is probably for the best if I had won it I probably would have opened it because I really wanted the shirt as mine didn't come with one. |

As to whether or not it actually was produced in quantity I don't know. It seems that it there were more then they would be showing up on eBay and so far they haven't. The $600 the sealed one went for would have definitely made anyone who was sitting on one list up. Hardy left back in August so Mattel would have had time to stop the production of the figure. Hopefully it does end up seeing a release as I would like to buy several more of them. The test shots on eBay the other day are mine. I bought them from the seller. The one that has been shown here on the boards belonged to another member who sold it to I believe KJTOYS. |

I'd really like to have a Mattel Jeff. But I hate that head. Dude looks like an alien. I would have to remove the paint from his face. The test shots are better IMO.

Or is it a more thinnenr machine like application? Also its possible for a lot more to be out there and not be in peoples hands. Sure $600 might look good to some but people may not want to let it go because of its rareity. As people have said, its quite possible mattel has a stack of these in a warehouse/factory somewhere. Also august isnt too late. They would have been into production by then so they could start sending shipments out early for the release date and begin work on other lines so they have more stuff to come out in january and february. The attires are pretty old so this tells us how early things were finalised. Fair enough, i saw 2 on there but they didnt sell it said. The two with cracks right? Congrats on the buys. |
