Warrior allowed Jakks to make figures of him....can't see why he wouldn't let Mattel do the same.

There is definitly something on the back because if you look at the upper right corner, you can see something, Looks like Warriors hair honestly which would be AWESOME!

Interesting topic but something makes me think it will be on the back and surely warrior will be part of the line.

Being accurate is what's important here, but I wouldn't mind if he doesn't have Warrior on the back. This is one of my favorite attires he's worn but having Warrior's face on there kinda bothered me. Well as long as we get the robe and mini kneepads I'm happy. I'm pleasantly surprised they actually picked this attire for his first figure.

Great post. I did the research last evening as well and I was wondering the same thing. One thing I do know, Warrior is all about money and as an owner of a 1 of 20 WCW debut Warrior figure, I know. Therefore, it is highly possible Mattel has signed Warrior and will produce a matching SummerSlam 1990 Ultimate Warrior (Jakks never produced one). If so, Mattel will complete the tights, if not, I am assuming it will be generic. Anyway, great thought provoking research. + 1

I can honestly say, Rick Rude is the only man who Mattel's figure torso is 100% accurate.
I wonder if Mattel will leave off that detail on the back of his tights...wouldn't surprise me

I feel kind of dumb, when I saw those pics yesterday I thought that was Eddie G. Didnt take a close look and zoomed out it does kind of look like Eddie.
