Rude's tights and boots look great, but from the waist up he looks more like Freddy Mercury. Rude was jakked and in the torso on this figure does not reflect that, but since Mattel also made a roid free Road Warriors set I'm not surprised.

 It looks like they'll probably just leave that part blank. That's what I expected and it works just as well. What does it say on the side of his tights? Doesnt it say "Heat Resilient" "Heat Returns." |

Very upset about Rude being blank. His Mattel figures are going to be quite mediocre. No Cheryl Roberts gear, Ultimate Warrior, Survivor series 88 team, and all the other tights he wore with his opponents adorned. Sucks because those were his best tights, the ones he used to mock opponents.

Great job by Mattel on the legends line so far. Looking forward to more quality classic figs from them.

I hope they iron this out. They could have atleast added the blue bars etc. If they leave the back 100 percent blank im going to be real annoyed.

The demands for those 1 of whatevers was crazy. While I definitely want a Mattel Warrior, I would get some joy out of Mattel telling him to shove it. |

Maybe adding the flames to the back would be a nice touch if they can't add Warrior...
It's ok though, if he comes with his rob then I don't care what's on the back as it will be covered.

As a guy who watched prelim guy Rick Rood morph into "Ravishing Ric Rude" (for a time, he spelled it like Flair) in Memphis in 1984, I'm pleased Mattel is coming out with a new figure of one of the greatest heels of my generation. The only think better would be one of this look, with the spandex and bad perm. (Those younger fans bemoaning Sgt. I don't understand why people would be that mad about the back being blank. It is the back. It's not a cost cutting measure. It's not like they showed us a picture on the back and by the time it came out it was gone. Maybe his accessory could be a cool looking robe and make up for everything.
The scan is great, & the tight are all but perfect. I'm very happy!
