I'm new to the whole Mattel figure line (I guess we all are to some point), but have there been any announcements or plans to bring in Championship belts for the new figures? I know there are those /1000 belts, but those are hokey at best.
Any help would be appreciated!

Since the stated to "stay tuned" during the chat, I'm expecting that we'll see pictures of belts and more accessories as Toy Fair progresses.
I'm particularly interested to see how they'll package these. Accessory and belt "sets" would be fantastic.

most of the Jakks belts are okay for the mattels in the meant time, my fave is the old "too small for the RAs" WHC belt. also, the old hardcore, old tags and the US titles all look great with my elites. others i think are a tad too big.

We will get them, but not instantly. Im pretty sure they wont be like the 1/500 Jakks belts with faux leather and die cast metal.

Seems like a rather important thing to leave out of the launch to me. Not really jakks didnt put out belts for the bca figures until i think at least a year or 2 from launch in the championship box set that was exclusive to toys r us. And they didnt release any regular title belts with mass released figures until Titan Tron Live Series 2 in like 2000 as all the other belts were released in Toys R Us Exclusive sets prior to TTL2. |

They can take their timeif the quality is going to match the quality of the figures IMO

I look forward to the Mattel Belts, but the Jakks belts are doing the job just fine for now. Plus, it's a way for Mattel to get people to buy another figure down the road so that they can get the belt. I remember buying a few unwanted Jakks figures, just to get the belts.

As long as the detail is great I can wait. I hope they come out with die cast belts similar to Jakks' 1 of 500 belts but that could be asking for too much.
