I was looking forward to the NWA classic line. However, as time goes by and more pics and news leak out, my interest is fading. This was going to be the only thing that kept me collecting.
While my JAKKS interest is ceasing, I am saddened to think my collecting days are finally coming to an end it looks like.

I just cancelled my preorder for the upcoming TNA Legends. Maybe I'll reconsider and pick up a few at retail, but yep, I'm pretty disappointed in Jakks.

-They went against 70-80% of the collectors and made TNA DA style Speak for yourself. I will never buy another RA figure, ever. The style is 7 years old. It's time to move on.

Yes, Jakks has been leaving a bad taste in my mouth for awhile now. I didn't see one new mold in the entire TNA line. And that is not a good thing.

I with Jakks all the way. I'm going to stay optimistic about Jakks. I've got a feeling they are going to put everything they have in TNA and LOTR. I've always liked Jakks products even back when BCA's came out. I think my only complaint about them is there QC, but every company has some problems. If they stay ontop of how the figures go out, and how they look, things would be better.
I really like the new product they're going to put out. Also, the addition of LOTR. When you look at it it's not like they are just giving up on us collectors. UFC looks great, and they are trying there best to please us. You can't please everyone though. There is always going to be that one person or group of people that just want to either bitch and moan that the product isn't good enough. It's simple... don't buy it then! Go out buy something else then! I digress.
Anyways, in closing, I think we should all give Jakks as many ideas as we can to help them. Then sit back, wait and see what happens. You never know could surprise us with something really great. Thats just my opinion though.

I myself am very disappointed in jakks, ok the figs dont have to exactly real scale but guys like red should be a lil smaller an guys like morgan taller, an super mex a lil thicker.. nothing drastick just enough to see their not the same.. re-using the exact same molds I can see being ok for some figs or even basic lines, but for the legends lines or the RA lines, should be molds made an designed just for them! that what would be so special as a collectors point of view. ur works getting sloppy jakks.. the mick foley gig looks awful..an the kevin nash fig..wow..these r bad, we could have put these peices together an made them ourself..so why r we waiting to by them in 3 months..?.. jakks its ok to reuse some parts for basic lines but stop making them all look alike..make the best out of the nwa rights an tna rights an make aleast the 2 legends an nwa line special again.. because if they all keep looking like this Im done collecting..

Therockers hit the nail on the head... I would much rather see a bca line like they started out making, not the last few bca line attempts that had the same body molds an were really tall compared to the lines before them..lines like the reg. would be amazing!!they had diffrent mold for diffrent guys an only used the same molds for some figs... make a bca line with the real scan heads..That would really fire me up for collecting again!!!! as most of the collecting I do from jakks now is just for the heads so I can custom bca figs anyway..

Well since the thread about JAKKS PATHETIC, my comment would be:
It is good to have these d**chebags in the market, cause from time to time they pop out good spare parts fro customs. ;D

I've not jumped ship on Jakks yet... probably because Mattel and their cartoon figures suck.
Anyways, TNA have big names like Hogan and Flair now... all WWE have is John Cena, and a bunch of nobodies like Seamus.
I'm definitely sticking with Jakks.
God bless.

I'm seriously losing interest in Jakks. They just keep pissing me off and disappointing me. I feel like I'm getting to the point where I'm losing interest in collecting because of them. Here's some reasons why: -They went against 70-80% of the collectors and made TNA DA style -They barely ever ask for our input-They make so many careless errors and non-sensical decisions -The rare times we do talk to them, opportunities for input are short, unfair, and lack a sense of organization -Most of the input we do give them doesn't seem to affect anything -A lot of their headscans use ridiculous choices for expressions (e.g. screaming or an expression the wrestler barely ever does) or are oversized, or they just skip using realscan altogether and the sculpt is poor. -There is no sense of scale with the figures -Most of the body parts are unrealistic and not correctly proportioned -They barely ever make new body parts -They often avoid making updated headscans and use old ones instead which are innacurate and/or poorly detailed -Whenever they make a new body style (eg. RA, DA, UFC) the figures seem to get bigger and so don't fit in with the previous style) At the moment, I'm just wishing for a BIG change. I want to see Jakks COMMUNICATING with the collectors much more. We need regular, fair, organized and extensive opportunities for input, which actually affects superstar and design choices. We need to be ASKED for input, not just told about things that are coming up (things which will happen whether we know or not). We need to be shown protos BEFORE they are too late to change. There is a massive amount of ideas and insight available to Jakks at WF. Free. Personally, I have a billion suggestions for Jakks. But they just don't seem interested.Honestly, to expect a figure company to base its decisions around some complainers on a message board is both naive and ridiculous. Jakks is worried about making money. They will put out what they want and we are lucky to get the information we get from them. I can see why they aren't interested in your demands for WCW stars and announcer figures. We all know where Jakks flaws are. Mattel just helped to further expose them. The solution of course is to only buy what you feel are quality figures or not buy anything they are selling.

I think I remember a bloke by the name of Triple H... he had a pretty good showing at WrestleMania 12. I do agree that Taker and HBK are legends... but the rest are just midcarders who got pushed due to the lack of REAL superstars. In 20 years time, most of those will have faded into the forgotten pages of history. God bless.
