I've only seen bats up close at the zoo. It was a path, in a room, that we followed with loose bats flying around.

One time in first grade, there was what looked to be a bat. Turned out it was just a piece of tape fluttering due to the air conditioning.

When I was little I stayed on a farm for a few months and there was a bat that came in and hung in the corner of the room.
It was quite scary, would hate to see a swarm of them.

I was attacked by a bat when I was 10. I just turned on the light and it shat itself and flew away.
