Tom posted that the figures shown along with the Legends package were only examplesJakks obviously just didn't bother to get any actual protos ready for the Legends line. Holy mother of god our voices are finally heard. No more epic fail Deluxe figs. My advice, go to Toys R Us and get all the crappy Deluxe figs taking up shelf space, use the parts for scrap and make more RA! My collection will continue.

LOL, Jakks classic line will look like a joke next to Mattel, hell, they will look bad next to alot of current figures from other companies/licenses. I don't understand why Jakks doesn't use the UFC molds on the TNA/NWA line.

So... they have no plans on figures being in scale? I know he said he didn't know, but being the face of the brand he should know. I'm pretty sure he was saying he didn't know because the answer was no. I watched all the Mattel ones so I figured I would see what they had to say, I know a lot of people are stoked about the RA legends, but they still have gotten me back into their product.

This guy came off as a guy who wanted to come off as a wrestling fan. I like how they were talking about Samoa Joe like he was a brand new original sculpt made just for Joe. You could have summed up the whole three part interview with, "You can expect more of the same."
Jakks needs to step it up especially after Mattel's showing.

Good news that the Legends line will be RI. However I have to say I'm kind of disappointed that the Knockouts are going to be DI. I was hoping they would go with the idea they had of doing them in a separate line. That way they could have done them all in RI instead. Yeah, but the real thing that sucks is that the TNA belts won't be out until the end of 2011. But i hope that the TNA Heavyweight & Tag Team Belts are 5 plates & not 3 like the X-Division, Global(a.k.a Legends), Knockouts Women's Championship & Knockouts Women's Tag Team belts are. Plus if they do come out with the belts for next year, they should make the other part of the belt a bit more shorter than what WWE's belts are alot longer. |

the 1st surfer sting figure should be his great american bash red ,white and blue figure Exactaly, when he beat "Naitch" for the NWA Wolrd Title Belt in '90, but i didn't care alot for the Big Gold NWA World belt when it came out in late '86 because it always reminded me about the AWA's World Title belt was always 3-plates instead of 5. That's why i've always went for the 10 pound Domed Globe NWA World belt that Jack Brisco(God Bless His Soul), Terry Funk, Shohei "Giant" Baba, Harley Race, Flair & Rhodes & Tommy "Wildfire" Rich wore back in the early-70s/early-80s. |

So what was the major news? The biggest thing I got out of this was that this is yet another Jakks line that ignores scale.
Kancer...you made the statistic up. These message boards are such a small representative of who buys these figures worldwide. You're fooling yourself if you think Jakks is doing this because they are listening to the fans. They are doing the RA style because it is cheap.

Thank you Hitman for stating the obvious. Didn´t say I was a DA fan...I am an articulation fan. I like Final Count over DA ANY DAY of the week. Why? You could actually do the movies. Da´s hands don´t touch. Final Count´s do. I am not talking OVER articulation like Toybiz´line. I want normal articulation. I hate RA legs. Always have. Always will.
The RA body style is CHEAP! Look at your Jakks product at your local toys r Us. GUARANTEE on the bottom of the boot it says WWE 2003. Yup...2003. Which means lovely Jakks hasn´t sculpted anything new in 7 years for boots...
Now take the LJN line. Most of you teenies will not know what this is. But lookie lookie...ALL NEW SCULPTS! Even when LJN the company was doing it....No wrestler shared the same sculpt. McFarlane toys does the same thing.
It´s cheap by Jakks and Mattel to jip people like that. But hey, if you teenies want CHEAP product...Go right ahead and buy it.
