So, last night I found 2 Heritage Edge 1/1000's. I bought them both and when I got home I hung them up next to my Stone Cold heritage 1/1000. That's when I noticed neither of my Edges had the 1/1000 sticker or spot to put the sticker on the bubble. Is this a variant or are they just factory errors? Now, after searching ebay I found 7 auctions (completed and active) for 1/1000 Edge figures and 6 of the 7 have the sticker and 1 doesn't. Can anyone shed some light on why this is? Both of my 1/1000's look like this: cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/WWE-EDGE-AND-KOFI-1-OF-1000-LIMITED-CHASE-PIECES-VHTF_W0QQitemZ180463477374QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2a0476227e They should look like this: cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/WWE-Wrestlemania-Series-EDGE-1-of-1000-Gold-Belt-Chase_W0QQitemZ120526168865QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item1c0feb6321

In the last 300 figs or so, they sent only to WalMart with collector booklets.

My 1/1000 Edge figures do not have the 1/1000 stamp on the package. Look at the pics from the ebay threads that I provided and you will see what I am talking about. Please read the the posts before replying.

Why would that make them variants?

This is the only time I heard there wasn't a 1/1000 so it's probably a factory error

Why would that make them variants? Because it is different then the original release.....I mean, we are counting the Elite Series 2 HHH a variant because his water bottle is in a different spot in the package. I know that there is at least 3 of these Edge figures without the stamp (1 on ebay and I own 2) so I would think that this would be considered a variant as well. Anyone who is an Edge figure collector would probably be interested in both versions.

It would seem that for whatever reason whoever was on quality control for Edge figures missed the fact that there was no 1/1000 sticker on some of the boxes - it seems a few of these have hit the shelves. I'd certainly class it as a variant simply as it is different from what would be classed as a regular release (with sticker). I guess only time will tell if it is worth more - it will be intresting to see how many of these made it out.

After doing to research, seems like these are outnumbered about 5 to 1 from the regular versions. I don't know if that would make it worth anymore, but certainly does seem like they are much "harder" to come across.

Definitley worth keeping them safe - are your numbers close together?

I have 8 1/1000 Edge's and 5 of them have no sticker. But they are all low #s ranging from 31-157. So it seems like the first 250-300 didnt get the sticker.

Well it must be the lower numbers of edges that have the sticker problem. Id class them as a varient. Errors are normally in much smaller quantities whereas the sticker-less ones have few too many that even if it is an error its probably a varient of sorts now. Man it'd be a shame to get 0001 edge and discover its missing the sticker (lets face it if you got the good number you want the whole ordeal including the sticker showing what its about)

i have one as well #133.I also have #560 and it has the sticker. It also isn't only missing the sticker the entire plastic bubble is different because the 1/1000's have a special bubble with a space for the sticker and these edges have a bubble like the normal releases.
