The current story from Wrestling Observer about Jeff is he's got a deal with TNA waiting on him after his trial (sometime in mid March, can't remember) ends. He's also gotten some international offers, but he can't leave the country with the case pending. Word is, Jeff will sign with TNA because he's angry at WWE for having Punk mock him for getting arrested in some of his promos.
Another thing, it is said that WWE Management is angry at him for showing up on TNA TV on Jan. 4th, feeling like they were betrayed. If we know anything about Vince, it's he doesn't respond well to feeling betrayed. If all of this is true, I'd imagine the call would have come from the very top to pull any and all Jeff merch immediately, forbidding Mattel to even mention his name in interviews. It's possible the questions were screened with the rep before hand and he could have told them, off-camera, he couldn't respond to the Jeff question.

I would love to have an Elite Jeff Hardy figure, but at this rate he's more than likely heading to TNA pending he doesn't go to jail. What's sad is it seems Shannon Moore got the shorter end of the stick with his TNA deal. As in they don't want him unless Jeff comes with....lol

From what I heard they didn't. But I really wish they would. That figure looked great and it's sad that it can't be released. But like others have said, if Mattel releases that Jeff Hardy figure, then Mattel and WWE friendship might get a little bit shaky. If Jeff Hardy ever comes back to the WWE, if possible, then their might be a chance.
