Just saw, evidently it is. Doesn't make it right though. you're kidding right? its KAYFABE, building a story line so YOU tune in. I don't know. A lot of people speak there own minds on their WWE.com blogs. For instance Joey Styles & Tommy Dreamer on ECW, JBL on whether he's joining TNA etc.

if you took the time to read the rest of the thread, WWE is sports entertainment, Danielson may be a great wrestler but we have no idea how he'll fare in the WWE Universe. As others said Hogan wasn't spectacular in the ring but he was HUGE. So that means The Miz should be the one to do the job? A mid-carder for even WWE standards? Heh. man look at Jerry Lynn, great wrestler, even the champ in your precious ROH, but didn't do crapin WWE, we'll just see how it goes.

The fact that this is featured on WWE.com makes me feel like this is just to set up a feud of sorts, which further indicates that WWE has plans for Bryan and wants to see him come out of NXT a big star

What Miz doesn't get is he didn't just headline independent shows. He has worked Budokan Hall several times and co-headlined a NOAH show in a singles title match, something Miz would never be able to do.
And the reaction from the crowd in his dark match was the biggest reaction I've heard from a debuting wrestler in quite some time, much bigger reaction than when Miz debuted.

Whether it's just build-up for a feud or it's real, what was said by Miz is true.

That question being, how the Miz of all people is the right guy to "teach" Bryan Danielson how to be a "sports entertainer".

The WWE obviously sees something in the Miz as talent in 'sports entertainment', which is why I mentioned his current accomplishments. Him 'mentoring' the new guy makes complete sense.

My answer to that would be that ROH and NOAH are way different from WWE. Again, crowds are different everywhere. As an Indy performer Danielson can get a reaction anywhere, but can he get a reaction facing Cody Rhodes on a RAW in Sioux City, Iowa?

If this is kayfabe it did its job, you all are gonna tune in and watch to see what happens. It's based around real comments from fans, though. So I'm pretty sure it's real to some extent and they're going to take advantage of it by turning it into an angle.

He gets good heat from the crowd, has a catchphrase that's caught on, and is believable enough to feud with guys like John Cena. That's what makes him qualified to help Danielson be a sports entertainer.

Because Miz is one of the best sports-entertainers out there right now. Besides Jericho & CM Punk, he is the best in my opinion.
