So I recently picked this up. Was wondering before I watch it of how good it is.

I watched most of it before and I thought it was pretty good. It gives a good look at most of the biggest stars, although there are a few glaring omissions.

It was alright, but I preferred the '80's one more.

It needed Vader and at least one ECW guy, but the bits on the guys they did show were great. A few problems here and there, but nothing major. It's certainly worth getting though, especially if you can find it cheap.

This is one of the few WWE documentary DVDs I passed up, mostly because the early reviews seemed poor. I heard a lot of rumblings about major names left out.
I passed on the Rise and Fall of WCW for a similar reason... I heard there was too much revisionist history involved, specifically from Mike Graham allegedly taking credit for a lot of stuff he had nothing to do with.
If I find either DVD on discount I still may pick them up.

the matches make the purchase. I usually watch those instead of the documentary

It is a pretty good dvd and well worth the price.

Yeah, no mention of a single ECW guy, no Vader, no Goldberg...
It's still pretty good though, I liked it
