OK...is Owen Hart really a big name? I was a fan of his. I think he was a great human being from all accounts, but he was a mid-carder for most of his career. A lot of us collectors want Owen, but he is not what I would call a big name. Macho Man should be the top priority for Mattel. He is a true big name. |

as much as i love that this line is going to have the name i always wanted classic superstars to have i dont see buying alllllll these old guys over again, i mean current guys yah they update and change there look but their just going over and signing everyone jakks already did at least start us off with some people we havnt seen We are getting Steamboat. And although Jakks made him quite a bit, I'm finally getting the Iron Sheik I've always wanted  I love the Mattel legends line already and will be buying them. I can't wait to see who the new 6th guy is and who the mystery big name will turn out to be. Vader? |

Why would you want it to be the Rock when we have 345 figures of him from Jakks? While I don't want a Rock I can see why they'd want one. There are plenty of legends that have had multiple releases with Jakks that I want mattel versions of. Mainly because I don't mix lines and I like the Mattel figures more than Jakks so I want to see Mattel's take on certain wrestlers. |

Why would you not want to see another red LOD or various Bret Hart's to scale with more realistic articulation. Currently, mattel is providing the collecting community with new characters/versions of previous characters to draw interest to their product. I predict Mattel will produce rereleases of Jakks versions in the future. |

Owen Hart was European champ/Tag Team champ/King of the ring winner... Abe Knuckleball got a classic figure in Jakks... I'm pretty sure Owen Hart deserves one more than Macho Man.. |

Someone earlier said 'they will not buy all the new legends because they are the same as the old JAKKS CS's.... yet they will purchase the new guys due to attire changes.
This makes no sense, as Mattel is purposely, in my estimation, releasing these guys in alternate attires/eras than JAKKS did.
Sure, Steamboat is new. But, the Slaughter attire is also new. JAKKS never had Snuka in long tights, like Mattel will. JAKKS never had Terry Funk in his old school cowboy look, like Mattel will. JAKKS never completed the old school Road Warriors, like Mattel will. Of course some guys like Austin will be similiar... considering his lack of ring attires. However, Mattel is obviously deviating from what JAKKS had already produced.
So just as the new(current) guys get new attire, the legends will, in my guess, be more accurate and from different eras(if possible) w/ different attires than what JAKKS released.

I'm pretty sure Owen Hart deserves one more than Macho Man.. Whoa now... I love Owen as much as the next guy, but there is no way in hell he deserves a figure more than "Macho Man" Randy Savage.... I think it's safe to say that Savage deserves a legends figure more than any other person out there.... |
