Don't get me wrong. I'm all for a rubber match between two, even if I would have Brock as my pick. But dying in the octagon? That's a bit much man. Especially considering that Mir did much more trash talking going into the second fight, and did nothing but get punched the whole time. Seriously Frank, let it go.
This just in from Nodq.com So let me get this straight. Frank Mir is "disturbed" by "our" reaction to his comments? You said you wanted him to die in the Octogon. What should my ing reaction be?

I hated Brock and liked Mir for a long time. . . the Kongo fight flipped me to where I hated both. Now I like Lesnar and hate Mir. f*** Mir.

After reading that, I believe I have lost any respect I had left for Mir. Not that it was much, but whatever respect I had for the man, just went out the friggin' window after reading that comment.
If there is a rubber match, I hope Brock pounds his face even worse than in the re-match they had. A few missing teeth would be nice.
Until then, I am praying Shane Carwin drops him like a bad habit.

I did like Mir there for a long time, but he's just waaay too cocky for my liking. Lesnar dominated him both fights and he should thank his lucky stars he was able to catch Lesnar in the first fight and sub him. He's a douche and I hope to see Shane Carwin knock him the hell out..

I won't knock Mir's skills, but seriously. You talked nothing but **** all the way up to the second fight, got completely dominated, and are now talking even more ****. There was no scandal or bad reffing or even an early stoppage. You got beat so bad that you needed several members from your corner to help you help.
What's funny is Mir did all this talking, trying to get into Brock's head. Brock not only didn't let it get to him, but didn't really say anything until the fight was over. Mir had been talking for months, and all Brock had to do was say a few words to get to Mir.

Although I realize what he said was most likely for publicity to help get things stirring for a third fight, however Mir is in over his head I feel. I'd like to see a healthy rematch of Mir vs Nog and see if Nog can take him. As for fighting Brock again, it's Mir's funeral.

Once again Mir is digging his own grave. If this was anything but combat sports I'd honestly think Lesnar could get a restraining order on Mir. Mir is that obsessed with Brock.
I think Lesnar would once again pound Mir's face in and once again shut him up. Hopefully then with the score 1-2 in Brock's favor Mir can finally shut up and admit that the only reason he ever beat Brock was because of Brock's inexperience.

He's just trying to say whatever he can to get another rematch. Don't look too deep into it

Pre-fight hype or not, that has to be the dumbest thing a fighter can say. For such a "well spoken student of the game", he sure is quick to say the most cliche crapthat fuels certain peoples jaded view of MMA simply being a barbaric sport for neanderthals. I'm not offended by any of it, since I know he's talking out of his ass, but it's just such a stupid, stupid,STUPID thing to say.

Hopefully then with the score 1-2 in Brock's favor Mir can finally shut up and admit that the only reason he ever beat Brock was because of Brock's inexperience. Either that or bad refereeing by Steve Mazzagatti. I mean, no warning, an automatic point deduction and re-start to a better position which worked in Mir's favor. Tell me that wasn't bad officiating. If it kept going on the ground with Brock hammering away on Mir, it was only a matter of time before it would have been stopped. When Mazzagatti stood them up, why wasn't it re-started from the same position when he broke them up?? Answer me that. It certainly should have, but wasn't. If it was any other fight, it would have been re-started from the same position prior the break-up, but it wasn't. And like I said, worked out great for Frank Mir and that's the only reason he won that fight in my eyes. He had ALOT of help from Steve Mazzagatti, there's no denying that.

^ Like I said, bad officiating. If he's done it in more than one fight, then it's bad officiating for sure. Which is why he'll NEVER referee another Brock Lesnar fight again. Brock doesn't trust him and I don't blame him one damn bit.

"oh im a big **** who has a vendetta over a ref because he made a bad call." Be a man about it...Jones did.
