My question to everyone here is, Will you keep the Series 1 through 5 or so closed? Most of the series 1 figures from Jakks are worth something MOC now. Like the Classic Superstars, Ruthless Aggresion figures from Series 1 closed are worth alot.

No, I'm a loose collector and I've never cared what figures "might" cost on the secondary market in the future. That's never a factor when I'm buying a figure. If there's a figure I really like I might get another to keep MOC, but I could give a cr@p about secondary market prices. Figures to me are a hobby about something I like...not an investment.

Nope. I display them loose and use the display stands that come with the figures.

I opened all mine. I thought about that but then i thought that the 1/1000 will be worth the money.

I can't keep anything MOC. I don't know why. I guess I can't see paying the prices figure places ask for, and not actually touch the item I bought with my two hands. Something goofy about me. I understand why people go MOC and all of that. BUt I don't see the enjoyment in it. If you want to look at figures encased in their packaging, just walk down the toy aisle and look at the figures. It'll save a lot of money.

I too am a loose collector. I always hit myself 2-3 years down the road when I bust them open, but still haven't learned my lesson. Oh well....

I am usually a loose collector. The only figs I'll keep MOC are the 1 of 1000's, a few figs I feel compelled to get more than 1 of (HBK Entrance Great) and the Legends Line when that comes out. The Legends Line's carding is too nice for me to mess up and throw away. Plus the carding reminds me so much of the old Hasbros. Ahh the memories.

The only figure I have MOC from Mattel is a 1 of 1,000 Cena. Everything else I have open.

I would only keep a Mattel figure MOC if it was special like a 1/1000 or if I knew I was going to meet that wrestler and wanted to get it signed to have MOC signed.

I had all the classics singles and 2 packs in my basement and someone stole themwhile I was on vacation. When I reported it to my insurance company even showed receipts for them the amount they offered did not even come close to there actual worth.Sententmental includedIf you choose to keep mint on card be wary .
