Cool, dont have one, youre right. Would be a pretty cool item to have if youve got the space, nice one.

That is great! I would not really have room for it but if you do then that is a great place to store your figs.
Store will usually give that stuff away. I know my friend always asks record places if she can have the Madonna decoration and stuff they use to promote her stuff and she sometimes gets lucky since they let her have it.. Never hurts to ask.

Lol, that's hilarious but good stuff indeed. My husband would freak out if i brought that home even though we have the space.
Enjoy!

To answer a few questions asked in this thread:
-although I don't think she was elated, my wife didn't "freak" as she is use to me bringing home "junk" like this (her words). She used to hound me some regarding the amount of figures I buy and trade for.....yet when I have shown her I do it in "moderation" (my words) and have explained that I could easily drop $75 to $90 a week in green fees and still suck at golf (plus have nothing to show for my money)-plus, I don't have a "hotrod", don't spend cash on booze or cigarettes.....so in the scheme of things....collecting figures is a fairly cheap & G rated hobby, which keeps me at home instead of being out on the golf course (remember, I live in South Carolina-THE golf capital of the world) and its cheaper than what I use to collect......which was KISS/music memorabilia & guitars.
I do plan to put this Mattel display in my room (which is a FROG)....which is also my music room full of my KISS memorabilia, guitars, classic toy collection and my biggest collection-my Cheap Trick collection. I will have to clear out some things and reconfigure my space, but I think I can make it work.....it will not be easy & I am not looking forward to it per say.
-Peace out, -Wagdaddy

Great pick up. My kmart hasn't had that display since the first week of January. On January 1st there were 4 of them. The figures sold so fast that by the end of the week there was just one. And then they were gone. The kmarts in Florida still had them when I was there.
I would love one for my place to display my 1/1000 collection, but living in a 1bedroom apartment in NYC with wife and a 5 month old son kind of prevents that.
Once again great pick-up Wag, I'm jealous.
