Who agrees that this match has the potential to be one of, if not the best match of all time?
I think it will easily top last year, just due to the emotion that is surrounding the match.

I was quite against having Taker v Michaels II a year after there first match at WrestleMania, but I can't wait to see it now after all this buildup. Only thing that worries me is, the match could get hyped to be greater than there first encounter at Mania, only for it to turn out to be an okay match.
I hope it doesn't though.

why do you care? you're gonna be sleeping during wrestlemania anyways but I do think it could be an instant classic, i can only imagine what they got planed for it, just hope Taker doesn't land on his head this year.

Anyone think they could go the distance and reach the 60 minute time limit and it end a draw?

I'm just wondering what the finish will be...I mean, I think it would make more sense for someone young to end Taker's streak, and benefit from it that way.
At the same time, is Michaels slated to retire soon? Even if he does, he'll probably return like he did after his 1998-2002, four-year sabbatical, or at least become a GM/commissioner/etc.
But yeah, the match itself will definitely rock.

While I do tend to think re-matches of high profile matches do not live up to their hype (Hogan vs. Rock II, Hart vs. HBK at SvS, etc). Some rematches do (Rock vs. Austin - Backlash '99, RVD vs. Lynn - Hardcore Heaven '99, etc). I do think this match will be better than their first encounter as I will try and avoid the hype and focus just on the match itself.
I think a good storyline would be to have Undertaker win at WM. Then have both him and HBK take time off due to the "physical and intense nature" of the match. Only to have HBK return as an authority figure in the summer with the angle of him trying to get a rematch with Undertaker at SummerSlam, which he'll finally pick up the win.

This will top last year's match. Taker and Michaels are getting up there in age, but HBK is arguably the greatest to ever step foot in the ring and Taker is definitely no slouch either. They will not disappoint (does Michaels EVER disappoint?).
The streak vs. career adds a lot as well. It will be major for whoever wins.

I was all for it since they started teasing it a few months back, and I think it will just as good or better than last year.

I don't want to see the streak end or Michaels retire.. I can see neither happening, and I hope neither happens some how lol.

I was so against it in the beginning, just because a match is 5-star doesn't mean you need to have a rematch. Now, it will be interesting to see. The only thing is, you can undo a retirement, but not 17-1.

I think it is going to be solely on the health of The Undertaker. We arealways hearing about his hip needing to be replaced.A man of his size can only carry a match so long. Both him and Michaels take a helluva lot of punishment and the wear and tear on them definetely shows. But I don't doubt for a minute both men will give their all as they have done time and time again.

if it was just a normal rematch from last year, I say there is no way it could top last year. But with Streak vs. Carrer, I think that the emotion surrounding it will make top last years match.

I think that at Mania, HBK will hit Taker with all he has. Only to realize that its not enough. And HBK will resort to cheating (low blow, chairshot). Picking up the win, only to have Teddy Long come out, since he vowed to take action against HBK, and restart the match. Taker will pick up the victory.
