Wow, I just saw Owen holding his then 2 Year old Son in his arms at the end of the Canadian Stampede In Your House PPV from July 1997, which just aired on WWE 24/7. The entire Hart Family celebrated their win in Canada, and it's just sad to think of all the bad times that were ahead of them. If only you could turn back the hands of time and fix things, right?
PS - I swear, at the end of the Canadian Stampede PPV - you could see a young Natalie & young Harry (David Hart Smith) celebrating with their Family. Pretty cool.

Too bad his wife is selfish... She's not letting WWE release all the great footage they have of him, and she's not letting him be honored in the Hall of Fame for his ownself/his family/friends & his fans. She won't let WWE do anything with him, so therefor she's selfish. the business/wwe took Owen not only from her, but stole him from their kids as well. she as every right to be bitter and not want WWE to profit one penny from Owen, call it what you want but I don't so it as being selfish. |

God, I hope his kids never get into wrestling.
I'd hate to see the angles they put Owen's kids into. I'd rather they stay away from the business completely.

She won't let WWE do anything with him, so therefor she's selfish. I wouldnt say shes being selfish. She lost her husband, because of the WWE, not necessarily their fault. But for the most part. You cant blame her for feeling like the WWE took him away from her. So yeah shes being selfish. |

Oskanowski is right, Owens wife needs to grow a pair and give the the older fans what they want and teach the newer fans about Owen and the kind of person he was.

I like Owen more. Too bad his wife is selfish. Dude, you cannot really judge her until you've walked in her shoes. The company took her husband and their kids' father away. I honestly can say I see where is coming from and completely understand how she doesn't want anything to do with the WWE. No one can really judge her and anyone saying she is selfish or immature or needs to grow a set are just plain f**ked in the head. The company, WWE, essentially killed her husband. Unless anyone has been in a similar situation (i.e. losing a spouse due to work) should have no grounds for arguement. I mean Austin has been heard saying he never wanted to work with Owen after what happened at SummerSlam '97. Can you blame him? No, but it was an accident. People are jumping on Austin about how he should grow a set. WWE's situation was just plain negligence, and people are jumping on Martha about getting over it. Really people? To the people saying Martha needs to let he kids see what kind of person their father was from WWE videos is just plain stupid. I love Owen's character, but for most of his WWE run he was a heel. Now her kids are old enough to understand Owen was just acting, but wrestling isn't what made Owen just a great person. I mean Owen did do a lot in wrestling, but I think his stuff outside of the ring is what truly made him a great person, which is what I think Martha is trying show her kids. As a fan I so desparately wanted a CS figure, tribute DVD, and HOF induction for Owen. His death to me is the only one that still gets me at times because he was such a family man and good person. |

Im honestly pretty sure they dont need Marthas permission to make a DVD from him. If that was the case Savage nor Warrior would have agreed to their DVDs.....Especially Warrior (assuming Savage does have heat with WWE). Not only that Owen is featured on the new hart foundation dvd.

I think not wanting to do business with a company that killed my spouse and left me and my toddler/infant children is fair. I think oskanowski should grow up. Not everything in life revolves around wrestling and not everything in life revolves around you. "Boo hoo, we don't get to see Owen Hart anymore, boo hoo we don't get a classic fig."
Someone sue Martha for actually standing up for her principals and not doing business with the company which caused her husbands death. . . she's such an evil heel!
