hey I bought Ultimo Dragon on ebay the other day (great figure by the way) i added the Exlusive cape to him, which i got ages ago and the cruiserweight title belt. the figure itself looks brilliant. But the previous owner smoked weed, and the figure gives off quite an aroma, its not a bad smell, but its one i could do without the parents smelling. any idea how to get the smell away? i tried Armani Code on it (the body spray) and after it faded away i could start smelling the weeed again. help  |

What I do is put the figure in a ziploc bag with a fabric softener sheet and seal it shut for a few days and it should help Tremendously. LMK

Spraying with cologne is not the best idea. That will just mask the odor. The fabric softener idea might work.
You should at least put it in a ziploc with an orange peel to keep it fresh.

OR...you could just start smoking weed and then all your figs will smell the same. And besides...when you're a burnout, you won't have time to sit around buying figs on ebay and sniffing them, because you'll be too busy hunting down a Hardee's double cheeseburger to kill your munchies. Just make sure you start smoking a little bit at a time, and gradually increase your doobage so that your folks won't catch on to it right away. Condition them, ya know what I mean? ;D

Lol actually I bought a loose Cactus Jack from the Classic 3 pack off eBay a few years ago and I had the same problem. It fades away eventually if you're not too desperate to get rid of it right this moment.

You need to buy some Glade Carpet deoderiser. You will find it in your local Walmart or Target in the air freshner section. Since its a powder, it will help soak up any moisture built into it. Soaking the figure is the worse thing you can do. You need to get rid of the scent before you try and make it smell better. Trust me...it works. Couple dollar investment. Put powder in bowel and cover figure. Let it sit for 2-3 days. Then rinse powder off and you can spray with whatever. But the scent from the powder should take care of it. Get rid of powder. Powder will begin to smell like what it removed.

OR...you could just start smoking weed.. That's funny! I had a friend who smoked alot of weed and had a few wrestling figures that held onto the smell. Obviously you're not gonna smoke pot, but if you do just don't tweak out if you smoke enough and your wrestling figures seem like they are talking to you like my friend did before.. |
