Just watched the SmackDown! from before One Night Stand 2005, and Paul Heyman was on commentary for the JBL/Chris Benoit main event. Michael Cole said something about how JBL despises ECW and that he was going to be one of Eric Bischoff's "crusaders" at the PPV, and Heyman said something like "From 1995 to 1997, Bradshaw called ECW begging for a job, until 1997 when he was turned down point blank." Anyone know if there was any truth to that, or perhaps read anything about it? It's the first I'd heard of it, and I must've missed the comment back in 2005 when it originally aired.
