I think it would be an awesome fight and believe Mir could pull it off even though he is an bunghole.

I'm gonna say Mir. More entertaining fight? Fedor Vs. Lesnar.

I think the people picking Mir are either hardcore fans of his, too impressed by the Kongo win, or heavily factoring in Fedor getting caught by a flash-submission attempt.
We've seen Mir be broken by his opponents too many times for me to bet against Fedor. Though I suppose his chances rise every year that this fight wouldn't happen. After awhile, he may be able to exploit a possibly worn down Fedor.

Fedor would run a train through him. Fedor has faced far, far better strikers when they were in their prime, and has out-grappled far, far better ground technicians while they were in their prime as well. Fedor by whateverthe hewants.

I didn't wanna say "oh Mir would kill Fedor" because most likely I would be wrong. In this poll I went the biased route and chose Mir. Out of everyone fighting now I think Mir would have the best chance.

I am not denying that. But say it was Fedors first fight in the Octagon? That WOULD play favor to Mir. And Mir has done some pretty surprising crapin his career. So Mir.

Fedor. It might be somewhat interesting the minute or two its on the feet and Fedor takes a solid shot, but after he takes the shot I think he says to himself "Ahh, I'm hungry. Time to go home." and then he'll knock Franks head into the fourth row.
Or just to really piss him off, he'll knock Mir down and then armbar him.
Either way, Fedor via whatever he wants.

The only person I can see having a chance to beat Fedor is Lesnar. Fedor would murder Mir just like Lesnar would if they fought again.

Fighting in the cage would play no different role what so ever. Fedor already fought in a cae in strikeforce. He won by TKO in rd 1. Remember that?

And the cage really didn't make any difference. Rogers didn't do as well as people think in that Fedor fight. People think that cut was making Fedor look bad, which is certainly did not. Fedor would beat Mir. Not sure why anyone thinks Mir would have a "good chance". Mir just proved that Kongo sucks, that's it. I also believe Mir will have a hard time against Carwin as well.

Even then, I can't push myself to factor that against Fedor.

Yea well i figured it was round one because he basically dominated. My only reason why I think Rogers did better than anyone in recent years is just the fact he made it to round two. But even if he was cut it wasnt a big deal like you said. I do believe Rogers showed that he will have a nice career being able to atleast keep up with top heavyweights...

Rogers is okay, but he is a bit sloppy. Look at that Arlovski fight. He threw like 30 punches and only landed like 4. Arlovski seriously needs to learn to keep his chin down.

He needs refining in his striking. He is a monster. Big stron and fast for a guy of his size. But he needs a good team. He would be a killer HW to go to Greg Jacksons camp...
