I'll keep my theory that wwefan is now going through the "Don't worry, I'll FOR SURE get it up by then" stage, something done by many here.
It just seems kind of pointless and is hurting the Board even further, if that's the case.

The lack of involvement on this board is I think at an all time low. No shows, no replies, just more of the talk and little follow through. I'm sayin me included. Is it worth even havin a pic fed board I wonder? Anyone willing to step up? Where have all the cowboys gone? Maybe we should just shut the board down till summer? Any suggestion for gettin some life on here?

Any suggestion for gettin some life on here? Bring in Hogan and Bischoff. With them, are shows could compete with the RAW Thread! I've suggested a huge Tournament of all Past and Present Pic Fedders that would agree; basically an NCAA Tourny-style Bracket. I think with LOTS of time before the actual Tournament, it would work. Maybe do that this Summer, like make FreedoMania a Summer-long Tournament, or build it to 2011 as the biggest Pic Fed Event of all-time.

The tourney is a good idea but we may run into the same problem. Personally I think it's time we change style of pic fedding. It's work as I've said before. I think maybe if Feds cut it down to a match a show and some higlites maybe we'll get a bigger turnout and more people will hand stuff in. This is what I'm gonna try with this new project with my friend. And ya know what, if people can't take the time to reply to one match then they need not be on the board complaining. Furthermore I think if fedders cut down on there shows they'll get more out. And I say to the ones that are against this to take a look at the board and see how stuff has slowed down. And also if you dnt run a fed you really shouldn't complain either because u really can't understand what we go through

I really don't want to see this board shut down. The whole reason I joined the forums was because of seeing pic-feds...especially the one by...i think it was not him again...anyway, it was awesome, and I wanted to do one....i finally have both the motivation, as well as the funds to do one, and now this
I am willing to do just about anything to see this get going again...I'm kinda on hold until my aftershock match gets seen as it is my starting point.
the problem i see with the big tourney is that we will still have a bunch of no shows, and in someways, its not fair, like, if i went up against DJ, or Colt, or if like Mr. NRRRG came back for it, would not go well
I don't know what the answer is..DJ's Idea seems good, maybe lower our expectations to 1-2 matches per show when viewing.....

Now I'm aware that people have lives but it takes all of ten minutes if it a day or a week to come on, reply, work a little bit on yor fed, etc. As I've said before it all comes down to what we want. Ever realize why the first head to head was so successful? Because people were involved. It takes a few minutes of our time folks. And I really think we owe it to to show him how much we care about this board at the least

Do you think maybe Pic Fedders joining together Companies or having Hybrid Shows would work? It would cut out half the work for each person.

Good idea, it has been done before with varying degrees of success. But again it depends on comittment and time. I still wouldnt veer away from having a one match show and highlights. Also you gotta decide between you and your partner who will be on your roster, who will get the new figs, etc. It's fun, but it takes some planning.

the other problem i see with hybrid is if you get put with someone who constanly no shows...
I agree though DJ, we should all (me included) do a better job of replying and taking part...maybe we should all make it a goal to reply to at least 3 shows a week on the first page (thats like, an hour out of your week)
i think the idea of reducing our expectations to 1-2 matches is a good idea...i don't know, this seems like a really big lull, and i just don't want to see the board get tanked

That was crazy but people did it. I think now, with people not as committed and interest waning that 1-2 matches is plenty. Also, I think people can really put a bit more into their one/two matches if they realize that hey, that's all I have to do this week. Anyway, I wont keep pitching the change, hopefully people will see the value of it. I know I'm gonna do that. As far as replying, There was talk at one time, although it never came about, about being part of a reply team. I think there was a group of like 10 guys that said they would reply to each other that are on the list. Like say LA, champ, me, wwefan were all a team. We'd promise to reply to each others fed. But, in all honesty, that shouldn't really be an issue. As we've said before, if you have a pic fed, there is no excuse for you to not reply to other feds if you are active on the board...ie, frequently posting in the discussion board. For one, it shows support and second, as a pic fedder, you yoursef knows how much goes into it and how much replies mean. I think evreyone, including myself, would be more inclined to reply and stay on the board if we all work together. On the flipside, we gotta take some pride in what we do...if you put up a match that has your toe, the cat, a baby diaper and a picture of you and your family at the beach in the background, or you've got wrestlers covered in crayon, etc, then dont expect people to leave a reply. good discussion guys, keep it up

I dont know how,but maybe a compulsary MSN chat room where we all get to know eachother, and go into detail about or feds and plans. my aftershock match was important to future storylines, and i am just waiting for this to get out the way first, and getting my next batch of customs. But i have a very stressful full time job,2 kids and little to no time at all to my self, and i put a hell of alot of effort to get my match and arena done, even if i was dissapointed in the end result. It does worry me if jack reads through the last few threads, that he might think its just a big carry on and close shop.

It does worry me if jack reads through the last few threads, that he might think its just a big carry on and close shop. I dont' think I'd worry too much about jack closing this down. Although we're in a lull, this board does some decent activity especially in the summer time. I agree, we're gonna have to rebuild the community on this board. I for one, hardly am familiar with any of the new fedders and their feds, but I do think that would contribute to the board greatly. However, it all falls back on us and whether or not we're committed to it. Just in this last day i;ve been encouraged by the few people that have engaged in our discussion thus far, but we've gotta keep this support going throughout, and more of the seasoned vets gotta come back and lend some support as well. As far as wwefan, I'll always have some defense for him becasue we go back a ways, and honeslty, he's a good hearted guy and I know he really loves being a part of this board. He's really responsible for breathing life into this board at one time. My only thinking for his delay is that either he forgot because he got busy or it's intentional, as others stated, to prove a point. Either way, I agree, It should be posted at least by this weekend outta respect for storylines that need to advance. At the risk of stepping on wwefan's toes and overstepping my boundaries...if anyone wants to pm me their Aftershock match, I can post it up this weekend, or at least try to get in contact with him to see what's going on. Like I said, I don't wanna overstep my bounds, but I dont want people to continue to be disgruntled either. wwefan, if you're reading this, hope you understand, and drop me a line either way On the pic fed side of things...I'm currently working on a new site for TNA Revolution, hopeully I'll have a sneak peek sometime in the next couple of weeks. Also, I'm gonna try to get back into some replying since I feel a bit of an itch TTYL!

i cant remember who said it, i think it was g money, but he mentioned that he didnt do the shows for the replies, just for the enjoyment. i think this is one of the key points of this board, if you enjoy it, go for it, if you dont, stop it. i havent replied in ages, and i dont know why. but i dont have a fed anymore. whenever i had a fed, i always replied, and expected a reply back from the other fedders. just going back to the enjoyment factor, i did gain a lot of enjoyment from replies. i can rememver reading the reply from kc for the future is now, and loved reading it all, his comments were excellent. but if you only do the shows to gain feedback, its probably not worth it. i love wwef on this board, and still watch the shows. it wouldnt take me long to reply, and im not sure why i dont. but he only gets around 6/7 replies an episode, and i feel this isnt enough from the fedders currently on the board. wwef contributes to the replies for fedders on this board a lot. but he probably doesnt get the replies he deserves back. furthermore, just skimming the main board, uws by marc, has only 3 replies, one of which was himself. again, this isnt really enough.
i keep trying to think of different ideas to take this board places. i just dont have the time to film, edit, upload, write commentary etc. i didnt do a match for aftershock, it was my own fault yes, but people are right, the only people wwefan is penalising is people who did however hand in. i love this board, but im not that worried if i ever see aftershock, so he isnt affecting me. is he affecting others though? yes, definitely.
i dont really want to say this, but i was never the best mod here, especially as i never had a fed, but the board kept ticking over, shows were being produced, chats were happening. it seems ever since i handed my modship over, the board was on fire for a week, and has not burnt out to nothing. i dont know wether this is wwefans fault, because he ressurected the board before, so it may be people like him here, and are feeling if he doesnt contribute regularly, over people wont also.
