i understand what you're saying, but you have to realize that we are an extremely small board. we have a small tight-knit group of pic fedders, and we should all support each other. at least say something about a show that you watch. it doesnt have to be an elaborate reply.
what you just wrote is ten times longer than a reply has to be. just try. that's all im saying

Let me preface this by saying, I think a good bit more are making a better effort to do their part in replying, so I applaud that. Although there's always room to improve G2, one thing that jumped out at me that sorta bugs me is kliq. While I agree those that view pic Feds have every right to reply to what they like, I think that anyone that puts the work, time, effort into creating a fed should always be able to depend on support of their fellow pic fedders no matter what the style. This based solely on the sympathy that you have for The work that person has put in. Do I like every style that's out there? No? But ya know what, if you showed me that you made a half decent effort and really are serious about doing a fed, then hell yea, I'm gonna reply and show my support. This has been what I've Been tryin to stress for god knows how long. If pic fedders support each other based on the fact that we understand what's involved, I think we'd see more replies. And while there's nothing wrong with having a style you gravitate to, it should never inhibit you from supporting different styles that work just as hard as you do. If we can't do that then we are headin more towards pulling the board apart rather then pulling it together regardless of how much activity there is. Let me put it this way, and no offense to anyone. There are now about 6 active feds currently on the board. That means each one of those feds should be able to look forward to at least 5 guaranteed replies. Furthermore,There are at least 2-4 former or intermittent pic fedders who are still to some degree active on the board. For the simple principle of understanding what's involved...that should be another 3-4 replies. Before any non pic fedders even reply, that's at least 7 replies that any given pic fedders can anticipate. For me, that would be motivaion enough to keep working hard and putting out more and better shows. And yes, I understand things come up and people cant/dont reply, but it would at least give people something to look forward to and could serve as a motivating tool for newer pic fedders. Doing something for the love of it is a nice cliche but imagine going to work everyday, even if it's something you love, and you never get paid for it...after a while, you're gonna wanna get recognized for the hard work you do. I mean come on, we all know what's involved. Consider a simple thought like "Damn, I know how much work I put into my fed, I need to give a decent reply to this guy cause it was good and I know what kinda work he put into it" And we all know how long it takes to make a decent reply compared to how much effort it was to create the show . Again the board is what WE make it. I hope we continue working toward this. The board is a much better place this way, trust me.

I also agree with the idea that you should reply to any fed, no matter what style, as long as you can recognize that somebody took pride and time in what they are putting together. I've been trying to reply to all the feds that have put up shows since June, because I know that replies basically make you want to keep putting shows up. They give you the reassurance that what you're doing is appreciated, and worth it.

I wasnt trying to say that you shouldnt reply to any, just that not everything is everyone choice. The "Kliq" comment was actually suppose to be a positive thing as we have people with similarities that are motivating each other. Now shut it, Im old if you dont understand what Im sayin Ill beat you over the head with my cane!!!!

I just hope it doesnt serve as a way to keep others from replying. Maybe I misunderstood what you read...it is past my bedtime . Then again, you being a miami hurricane fan you're no stranger to incoherent speaking, so maybe it was how you said it ;D

Wow. I just sat down to write some ideas for booking the next FIW show, and I basically ended up booking the rest of the year! Haha. And writing out all those ideas has me really pumped to get more shows going. I'm gonna try to start filming my next show this weekend, and for the first time ever, film more than one show in one sitting. You guys probably don't know this, but I actually have to take down my entire arena every time I finish an episode, because I set my arena up on my dining room table, and there is no place to actually eat for the week or so I am filming an episode. So I usually film one and take down my arena, but I think I'll try to film a couple shows in one set up. I'm going back to college August 21 or so, and I hope to have enough shows filmed that I can keep putting them up even when I'm at college, as they will only need to be edited, if I take all the pics while it's still summer. Anyway, I hope you guys have been enjoying FIW because the booking ideas I just wrote down have me pumped to keep it going.

i think as long as all of the members of the board who have a fed, and are regularly posting, should reply to each others feds. for example, wwef replies to fiw, and so brm responds to wwef. if the replier just wrote a note at the bottom 'please reply to blah blah', for example, this could help the board. as long as people gave two way replies, i can see this board being fine. whenthat doesnt happen, people get a bad reputation, no one replies, etc.

I had to go back and look at DJ's NWR. His logo still makes me load my pants. Seriously for some reason that is and always will be my favorite wrestling logo.
