The Neck connector piece has been altered in mattel figures i just made a custom joey mercury using john morrison 2 pack figure and a ra head of mercury looks great but fair warning you have to remove the connector from the ra head and the head from the mattel to do so also
PPV series 2 morrison is way better than 2 pack morrison in my view

yup, the Mattel pegs are a-symmetrical, so just remember to LEAVE THE PEGS IN THE BODIES and swap heads only, it shouldnt be a problem.
i was considering switching mattel hands to R-3 hands (love them pointing fingers still!) i'll let y'all know if it's worth it -- buuut i didn't notice it's so late aleady so that'll be a different thread all together.

Yeah I noticed. I have broke the neck peg a few times. I love Mattel but they are a pain to customize.

Perhaps I'm not understanding, but why would someone do a head swap with the "connector" still in the head when it's easier and less damaging to just warm the head and remove it altogether?

What do you mean the divas are weird? Unless they've changed the mold with Mickie. I tested a Jakks Michelle McCool head on the Beth Phoenix Mattel and I was able to do it properly.

It's not that hard to just boil the head and pop out the Jakks peg, then pop the head on the Mattel peg and vise versa if necessary. There is no reason anyone should be breaking pegs unless Mattel has changed their pegs since the first two series for some reason.

AM so glad you guys destroyed your figures and lost your investment... Grow up. Anyways, this is a pretty easy problem to solve. Just use some warm water when doing part swaps. There is literally no reason to be destroying any part of your figures with head swaps unless you're being lazy. Warm water makes everything a lot safer for your figures.

You surely got me confused with someone else. Open them up! Release them from their plastic prisons! Play with them! But don't chop their heads off and sell them on Ebay because YOU think your Hardy looks better than Jakks...it always doesn't.

I somewhat see your point, but it's hidden beneath the odd fact that you think you know what's best for others. Just because YOU don't think it looks good, it doesn't mean that someone else won't love having it in their collection. Beyond that, what do you care if someone can hustle up some cash by using their artistic ability? You seriously sound like a very bitter old man with your anti-custom rants.

AM so glad you guys destroyed your figures and lost your investment... They're not investments to me. I could give a crap about what they cost on the secondary market in the future. That never comes into play when I'm buying a figure. They are a hobby for me. I buy the Legends & my DC/Marvel superheroes for the memories they bring back of my childhood when I look at them. And the modern guys I buy because I like them. And for me sometimes that means repainting them into the attires I remember them most in. Examples: Muraco - Yes the figure is cool from his face "Rock" days, but for me I remember/loved him as "the Magnificent Muraco"a heel in black or dark blue trunks. Another Superstar Billy Graham sure the green tye-Dye is nice, but the matches I remember of his most he was in the purple tye-dye. So that's how I wanted mine to look on my shelves.

This is sort of an aside, but what kind of paint do you use? You paint jobs look incredible and professional. I can't tell the difference between yours and an actual Jakks paint job (well, their good, non lazy paint jobs.
