We have seen countless attempts from Macho Man to Von Erich to Steamboat for Jakks heads by Ada. I have emailed Ada and I have recommended to her to do a Mattel Jeff Hardy. I told her I could probably get some folks from Wfigs to preorder heads to show a serious interest in this project. What do you guys think? If I organize this, who is in? Please just make a post with an estimate of the number of heads you want. I believe each head will run $25. I will supply her a basic Mattel figure, minus the head to show her what scale we are looking for. Will they be painted? I know she offers this but never seems to get the skin tones right. I suggest we all use our favorite customizer or even this guy: wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=crushcrushwho has shown he knows how to paint. Perhaps he is willing to join in on the project and make himself a little cash as well. Outside of the head, the custom is fairly simple to do. The 2 best available bodies are probably Flex Force Matt Hardy, which only needs his arms bands painted on. And then there is Elite 3 HBK, which would give you the Elite style, no shirt, but would require some basic painting on the pants. If we meet the min. by Ada and she agrees to do this, I think this could be great for the WFigs community. These projects seem to have worked in the pass., so lets make this one work too!

Wouldn't it be easier to just get someone to make resin copies from someone who has the Mattel Proto?

yeah im not sure this makes much sense when people could buy a factory painted jeff head from numerous jakks figures such as the R3 head or even the TNA heads might work.
My response would be different if there wasnt so many options already available and painted.

I doubt her likeness would be as good as the Jakks heads already out there.

*fart noise* nah sounds pointless when there's been probably over a dozen of his heads released. You got guys like warsman that can make a copy of the heads too.

it would be easier, cheaper and look MUCH more like him if you just use the R3. Ada's heads are terrible. The sculpts are decent but the painting is horrid

WOW! Not the response I was looking for. But ok.
1. R3 Heads are AWFUL looking.
2. RA heads are too big. The only one that might work is the pink faced RA IE.
3. I dont think TNA heads would work b/c of the different ball joint. I could be wrong. But I dont think so.
4. Yes Ada's paint jobs are bad. Thats why I said, perhaps crushcrush could do the painting instead. Paint is not required.
5. As far as Warheart making resin replicas, I'm down with that. I just dont have a test shot to supply him with. And if Warheart is interested and can do it and wants to do it, I have seen his work and I would buy.
Her sculpting is pretty damn good. I think she could sculpt the Jeff mattel head perfectly. She has always been able sculpt from photos and make them look dead on. But if you guys arent interested, you arent interested.
Warheart, if you want to try and work something out, let me know. I am trying to obtain a Jeff test shot and perhaps we could do a resin copy.

yea im not down for this either...and this is usually the kinda thing thats right up my alley....im really soured on jeff hardy because Im pissed off at him personally for costing us the great mattel figure..and no custom could do it justice.. and also its not like we dont have jeff hardy figs when I have countless jakks versions...if I want a mattel one..ill wait for his eventual return to wwe...a classic a few years from now..or id rather not have one

25 seems too much for head. the figures will be released somewhere down the road..

I disagree strongly that R3 heads are awful looking. Particularly in Jeff's case R3 is more than sufficient. If you paint his face it's even better, yet not necessary. Sorry, but I see no sense in blowing some coin on a head which has already been mass released several times.

Sorry show but I am not the man who is responsible for making resin heads the big hit of WF. That's WARSMAN... I am WARHEART
I just thought I'd throw in the idea in there. There are a few members who can make resin copies of heads on here.

Rozz could maybe do it. He's really easy to work with (really nice guy) but he is often incredibly busy. I'll try and look him up in a bit, but you could probably find him quickly in the custom support board.
