I'd like to see what 'mid evil' times are like... You're born, you train to be a knight at age 9, you get married at 12, you have 8 children, then you die of the plague at age 20. Great life. Actually, you only get to be a knight if you're a member of nobility. There's a 99% chance you're not. So you grow up as a serf. You pick and you hoe and you pick and you hoe. If you are lucky, you may get to see something more than a 2-3 square mile radius in your lifetime, but probably not. Then you die at age 20 of a disease that you'd never, ever get today because you'd be innoculated. If you get extremely lucky, you live to be a wise, old elder and die at age 40.

One thing I've noticed from reading this thread- Every generation thinks their music is the best. If you were born in the 80's you had those memories. So, kids that are 7 these days will think that the 2000's had the best music because they have those memories.
But to the main post, I'm happy to be alive in general.

I just want to be in the new system of things coming shortly. I have no idea what that means, but it sounds impressive. PM me and I'll tell ya all about it.

Sorry, that went over your head then, eh... 'Medieval' times, yeah, that's what you described, mine was more about the misspelling of it and going with it from there...

I would like to go back to the 80's. my reason of course is because toys were so much better to me (variety) transformers, thundercats, wwf, ghostbusters etc. there were no online stores so actual toy stores seemed to put out more effort in keeping up their inventory. am I the only one who thinks this?

I like being alive in our time, but I wish I could have been like 16 in the 90's. Nirvana Red Hot Chili Peppers Green Day was AMAZING. (Basket Case is there best song, TBH.) I would've fitted right in. Now everyone my age is like, "OMG! I LOVE OWL CITY!!!!11!1!1!!" then next week they're doing the same over some girl named Ke$ha. When we were in Social Studies my teacher played Journey - Don't Stop believin' & everyone just looked around the room like they've never heard of the song. Then, after about a minute in a kid randomly said, "Hey, This song is on Family Guy!"
