Maybe someone can answer this question for me...
I happened to check out the figures at my local Toys R' Us today, wanted to see some of the Mattel stuff up close. (Man, those things look awesome), and I came across three CS1 Shawn Michaels. I was shocked, to say the very least.
I've been out of the figure loop for years, roughly since that series first came out, but I remember for a while, they were very rare and going for a pretty penny on eBay MOC. I was tempted to buy all three, but figured I'd check on prices first.
I noticed that they're no longer selling for much at all, so first of all, what happened? Did everyone come across extra stock?
I was confused at first, thinking maybe it was "best of" or something, but the card had the original CS1 figures on the back, and had a copyright date of 2004. Made me think they'd just been sitting in the back all these years.
Crazy how many Jakks products TRU had.
