NEWS!!!! Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 will feature on the new 3DS Software. == The Miz and Eve is in the Expo Building and are currently being prepared for interviews, Ledesma has arrived, Brian is her along with some new guy! == Xbox360 & PlayStation 3 Exclusive DLC Demo Releasing October Second 2010. Thanks dude. Sucks that we have to wait until the month it's released for the demo. I might actually just wait for the full thing. Who the am I kidding? Of course I'm gonna try it out. It's nice that we're getting one again. The last time we got one was what? For 08? At least for the 360, that is. Gamespot will be showing more on SVR2011 at 8:00pm EST. Awesome. Cannot wait.

I remember the last demo we got had Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. Yeah, I guess it was 2008.
Can't wait for the stuff on Gamespot.

I'm guessing any E3 stuff will just be interviews posted on sites--not anything on the live feed. It's pretty cool that they brought back the Miz and Eve since they did that whole 'draft' roster reveal for 2010.

Finally a demo, Even though its in October It will give us stuff to do. Cant wait to see what news we get this week, if any. But I will have to wait patently for the E3ers to upload videos from the demo in the mean time..

To be fair, last year's SVR for the DS was pretty good. The gameplay was a little slow, but overall I enjoy the hell out of it. Each Match was fairly unique, and the card system they had was cool. Plus full entrances.

Plus full entrances. Well that's good to hear for those who play it on the DS. I'm not much of a 'portable gamer' so if I'm playing a game chances are I'd be able to access my 360/Wii anyway, so I'd just play that version. I may have to check out the 3DS one though.

Why is it still on the freaking PS2? They need to stop making games for that thing as a whole. It holds the game back for the 360's and PS3's.

Can't wait to get more info, one thing I'd love is the Create-A-PPV mode, I loved that, and like the first 2 SD games, at the end of the PPV you could have them summed and rank the PPV's in order of best, just something I've always liked

Why is it still on the freaking PS2? They need to stop making games for that thing as a whole. It holds the game back for the 360's and PS3's. In all honesty, after last year I don't really think that's a valid argument anymore. There was so much that they put in that the PS2 version didn't get because it couldn't handle it.

Ain't that the truth, last year was the first time that the 360/PS3 versions truly felt like they were next gen. Meanwhile, the PS2 version was an easy production and it still sold almost a million copies.

OTE, I gotcha. But just think how far along and advanced the game could be without it still being produced for PS2.

I have no clue where you're going with this since the PS2 version takes relatively no effort to make since they started reusing the character models and renders from previous years for 2/3 of the roster. The "every version must be equal" days are over and THQ generated over $40,000,000 in revenue from the PS2 version alone. The PS2 version isn't going anywhere until people stop buying it.
