Im on the Minitron bandwagon.
I want the whole screen to go black and purple for Undertaker.
If I play a match at the Smackdown arena, I want the whole place turning red for Kanes entrance.
Its sad that I've actually picked the Smackdown arena, just to make Jericho's entrance look that much nicer. I shouldnt have to do that. Every venue should do a superstars entrance justice.

Please forgive my igorance, because I clearly know them by another name, what exactly are minitrons? The videos that play on the secondary screens, not the main titantron. Like what the poster above put for Kane. That Brian Williams interview was AWESOME. So much new info.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they used the titantrons themselves as the minitrons.

Weapons made the Acclaim games a lot more fun than they were, lol. Along the presentation side of things, I wish they'd finally add exit themes (ie instead of DX's song playing from the beginning when you win, it'd start off at "BREAK IT DOWN!") Yeah same, I just wish there was new after match animations. I hate the title wins and the ladder match once, cause they all the same and dont fit for all superstars. I dont want Undertaker to dance around...

Yeah same, I just wish there was new after match animations. I hate the title wins and the ladder match once, cause they all the same and dont fit for all superstars. I dont want Undertaker to dance around... Yeah, post-match animations definitely need a lot of work. Not just things like specific match-type ones, but even more so the fact that every in-game Superstar should have their own. Seeing Festus walk around all happy after he won a match, after going through all the effort to give him a great entrance, taunts, moves, etc. just for of the likeness to be taken away because he wins a match really annoyed me. Same goes for anyone else who didn't have one. If you can make an entrance for them, you can make a short 20-30 second winning animation. Hell, even if they just did one of their taunts (WM2K/NM style), that'd be better than nothing. The worst thing of all is that you can't even actual set it to one specific generic one. So if someone's a heel one match they could be pulling their hand away from the ref and in the other they could be blowing kisses to the crowd. I will give them credit for last year though, because it seems like they were on the right track and a lot of Superstars had one. I'm not going to be completely happy with this part of the game until everyone who's originally in it does. There's truly no reason for it. That's truly one of the only things that really bothered me with 2010.

Was very cool to see the vids, particularly the interview with williams. That guy is like one of us, seems like the kind from this side of THQ. Lots of good info, all these small things really improved the gameplay, THQ has made leaps and bounds with 2010 and 2011. There was a time there were things were pretty monotnous but THQ is redeeming themselves. Im so glad to hear there is more news ahead, i was fearful the only thing we'd be getting is the physics thing, not saying its weak addition or anything, but if you linger on one thing it kind of detracts from how good it is.

Cory says there will be over 100 match types. I'm not entirely sure how many were in 2010 (I'm sure each little option, i.e. TLC one on one and triple threat would be two separate 'match types', but that still sounds like a lot. I love the new ladder shaking/shoving animation. Those clips from the Undertaker's entrance looked great too.

Wow, 100 match types sure seems like a lot. The more I see these table breaks, the more I love them. The powerbomb Williams did to the table leaned up against the apron was sick. It also seems like that they are finally getting rid of some of the stupid stuff that seems like it would be part of a game years ago. For example, now we can pick if we want to use the pin version of a move or the non-pin version. You don't have to lock up for every single move, which I thought took away from the realism of the match for years.
One thing I wish they added was the physics engine on everything solid. They added it to a crap load, but I mean everything solid. Like I wish that if you do a suplex near the barricade, your opponent would smash their back on it, where as now they just both slide to a point where they can land flat. Same with the ring apron, the stage peices, all that jazz. From what I noticed, it is mostly just with weapons.

I mean we can't have it all right away. Last year they just introduced the new Havok engine, and this year they're expanding their usage of it. I'm sure as the years pass we'll be able to do more and more with it. The new additions this year are fine enough for me, but I get what you're saying.

I don't know if this was ever mentioned, but I just read this piece off a g4tv article Yes, more features that have been in 10+ year old wrestling games finally making a return that probably should've been in from the start.

That button mashing thing is cool, it should have been in awhile ago like someone said but at least they did it this time.
